One of the bigger media teams in Battle Rap. Not as heavy on RUclips as we use to be but around 50k followers on Twitter, 20k+ on IG. We post recap written articles and you’ve probably seen the quotes/stats we post on other bigger channels before without knowing. Without them I wouldn’t be where I’m at so I always show love, but the direct support even more appreciated 30 💯
Id have to put Dizaster into the first round of the hall of fame over Clips. Similar to you, he's not my personal top 5 all time, but his impact in the early days of battle rap with WRCs, to Grind Time, to KOTD, and specifically paving the way for the west coast that we know today with Daylyt, Geechi, Nitty, Danny, Bdot etc. He also transcended more than guys like Illmac and Thesaurus who are pioneer for the west, but Diz took it to another level. There of course is a lot of cringe, but its hard to not have him there. Clips I think had arguably the highest peak in battle rap, but Diz should be a first round inductee for what he has done.
Best peak in Battle Rap is Geechis for sure. His repeat years as COTY was just insane showings in battles vs Mt rushmore battlers and killers who don’t get the shine they deserve. Whether you thought he won or lost some of those battles, who else was battling K Shines and Surfs and then battling Madflexs and Chillas at the same time
@@alexsantebla2480 I mean, Clips kinda was too. So long ago that ppl don’t realize when he battled JC/ORed these guys were considered high risk low reward. Then did some of the first pivotal work across borders, battling Tony D and OShea and going to KOTD to battle Lyt, Hollohan etc. Geechi peak is also best of the best stuff, not mad at that pick either. But Clips had more emphasis on the clear and body bag Ws vs some of the best ever (Roc, Surf, Verb). For me, that still reigns supreme
@@jsmoreviews4140That’s fair, maybe I’m biased because Geechis dips are accompanied by huge wins against people like Lux Eazy and Hitman whereas once clips started going downhill he never came back up for me
