Nice my friend,i have goldian finches,nearly 8years now,love those birds,but not very good parents,in one years i had 75 new birds,the season was good,but could have been better,because the parents lost a lot of babies,i always have like 6 to 8 couples in the breeding Season

No, I give my finches their deserved rest in winter. And it needs to be a certain temperature and amount of daylight before they go into breeding conditions.

Hello. The Star finches and Gouldian finches look promising. Looking at the owl finches, I'm thinking it's two females based on the chest bar and not bright white, more dull above the bar, chest area on both birds. Also no dancing, no carrying nest material like a male does in courtship. Females will groom each other but usually male builds the nest I hope that one sings but maybe search for a male or two.
