I'm using another model of 300W Phillips system for last nine years it can give multichannel audios like AAC 5.1, and DD5.1 through hdmi ARC connected through my Sony bravia . You can go into the Home Theatre settings by connecting it to a TV by pressing Home Button in the remote, it opens a Settings Menu, in that you can change the Bass, Treble and a number of settings!
You can do it with many ways, one is HDMI ARC, another one is Optical Input, another one is AUX Input, and you can even enable Bluetooth by a separate Bluetooth dongle and connect to your TV using Bluetooth!
