@lobowynn They suck fingers because they are stressed. You can see where this little one has hit his nose trying to suck but can’t with the mittens. Pacifiers do exist, if they had been used early enough the mittens would not be necessary. The best course would be proper care for this infant.

Already showing neurotic behaviors with getting no comfort (besides the act for the camera) and it can’t self soothe because of the mittens. I bet this thing was a neurotic screamer and pacer when it became older, if it lived long enough. That baby is totally defenseless. His hands are tied in mittens and he is too young to have teeth that could do any damage. And he didn't live long enough under this regime of continuous abuse-- tormenting, terrorizing and starving him, for him to devlope enough strength to resist in any way. He died pretty quickly, which is good only in the sense that his suffering wasn't prolonged for many months, as sometimes happens with stronger monkeys.

When stressed the babies suck their fingers, toes, boys their private. It soothes them some. Its ingrained in them to clutch on to the mom almost constantly, eating as they may. Put them with a human and ALL their basic needs are gone. They are cute but not a human baby. They shouldn't feed on their backs, wear diapers, etc. Sorry got carried away.
