Yo D Ramirez, used to play your records back in the day in Japan when I lived there from 2002-2008. Love to see ur still crushing it! Great video, subscribed
Thanks for the useful content mate. Been a fan of your tracks for so many years! Got loads of yours on vinyl. Great to see you on here, subbed 💯 big ups 👏
I used to dance my Wotsits off to your tunes in the early 2000s when I lived in Asia. Your remixes of Lost and the Bodyrox tunes are both tremendous. There used to be a 10 minute clip of you DJing at Glastonbury in the early 2000s but it doesn't exist anymore. I'm gutted I never downloaded it. You played some incredible tunes including Atomic Baile Boy, which fried my brain having never heard Electro-type music up until then.
@@DRamirezMusic Yeah, I am so disappointed with myself for not downloading it. I used to listen to it every Saturday AM before teaching for 9 hours to hype me up! Those tunes I also ended up downloading and taught my partner how to mix. She didn't keep it up for that long, but it somewhat inspired me to pick up DJIng again, and many years and many hundreds of records later, she probably wishes I hadn't... Anyway, Happy New Year have a brill 2025!
Hey Ramirez. Can u put a link to Stem Roller in the video description. i can find a lot of stem scooters on the internet, but none of them seem trustworthy to me. Would be nice. Thank you :)
@DRamirezMusic Thank you for your response, I'm a big fan! Yes, I absolutely love your work. I'm really curious because that song is so dynamic. You can't imagine the influence you had on me back in 2008-I even bought the same mixer as you, the same Nord Lead (which never worked properly), etc. You're the only influencer whose work truly resonates with me!
@@Bustalisciousawww - this is so nice to hear! 2008 was a long time ago now so I guess this is all a bit of a blast from the past for you. I hope you got the Nord Lead to work! Still use mine a lot and got it out again recently. Although my synth collection has grown considerably since 2008 and I’ve run out of space 😊
@@DRamirezMusic Happy New Year 2025, D. Ramirez! I wish you a year full of fresh inspiration for your music, with many new tracks to come. May this year bring you health, happiness, and intense joy. Thank you for sharing your incredible talent with us! And bout the nord lead and my keyboards I hadn't choices, I have sold them for my health and my teeth implant. But I planned to buy a Moog the Grandmother!
Great video mate. I’ve just started using Fadr Stems which breaks down the stems even further into individuals sounds that were originally overlaid. Even drum hits. P.s. I don’t know why I don’t start tracks in session view like this. Still learning Ableton after being an old school Cubase users for decades.
@ unfortunately yes it is subscription based. Although I got it on Black Friday for $US35 for the year, which they’re still running. However it does include SynthGPT which I haven’t played around with yet.
Hehehe...using RUclips huh? What are your thoughts on that? Cause a lot of producers have used it for sampling. Not sure if you want to jam it out on a Soundsystem though. Love the content
Of course the quality will be terrible - even worse when you separate stems. But you do get a particular sound which you can use to your advantage. Plus, with modern plugins you can make sounds pop out so you get a certain vibe that you wouldn’t get with a ‘clean’ sample.
@@DRamirezMusic Thanks for answering that D! Yeah I kinda use the SP950 on any sample I rip off youtube cause well, it's already degraded so why not just degrade it some more. Oh what plugins would you recommend to brighten the sound? Love the tutorials
@@DRamirezMusicbut can you sample the same stuff from the record if you bought it on vinyl or CD? If so, see RUclips as a large library of free tryout material and buy the stuff you really want in high quality.
Cutting straight to the meet and no fluff as always. Great video once again. Happy New Year 🎉
great
Absolutely love this, top quality content. Looking forward to more 🎉
Nice one! Plenty more to come.
Wicked video mate 👌 great shout for the stem separation thing. Also, thank you
Ahh - my pleasure! 😊

Ok, my first sub 2025! Fire content 💥

Much appreciated! 😊
man that's cool you started doing the tutorials again, I like how you just go straight to the point
Thank you 🙏
Ooooo, that Steve Monite song is one of my absolute favorites. Curious and a bit anxious what you'll turn it into 😂
Nice actually! I'm gonna try that loop skipping technique today (had coincidentally downloaded stemroller yesterday)
Yeah, I love that record myself so I tried to be very respectful. Glad you feel I didn't butcher it too much! LOL
great stuff as always! happy new year!
Happy new year!

You are very welcome and it’s my pleasure!
D, Fantastic track and video mate, so good to see you on here finally, you should have been on here 10 years ago!! but better late than never!
Hey! Lol - it’s took me 10 years to get around to doing it 😊better late than never as you said 🎉
I was thinking the same thing! Haha
You're still the god in this. 🙏
I love these videos. it's great information. I haven't done much sampling, so it's really cool to see and learn.
Try it! Sampling is so much fun!
D. Ram still rocking it!
I’m trying 😊
So cool ! I haven't watched your videos for a while due to a busy life.
To be honest - I haven’t posted anything in years so you’ve not missed anything 😊
@@DRamirezMusic I will follow to the max then ! I will study your video again and again, ty for your amazing shares and work !

Awesome! like it

Ahhh - I didn’t finish the track, it was just a loop for the video. Should I finish it?

it would be really cool to see you do a collaboration session with BtheLick, you have similar production knowledge
That would be cool!
Amazing video 🤙
Thank you 🙌
Great video D where do you search or how for old school disco on you tube cheers
Just type in Disco Loops for sampling in RUclips - easy

Yo D! i just subd 😁
Thank you 🙏
Keep getting a malware icon from Stemroller. Is it safe?
Hmmm - well, it's free and nothing in this world is free so maybe that's the price of using it! I'll double check myself before I use it again.
@@DRamirezMusic CAN u give us official link for stem roller same problem cheers
I sample a lot, I will check some of my tracks to send you to Slave Recordings. When I am in the mood I make disco filtered music
