@@Adam_Outdoors I was out today for like 6 hours and I was struggling 😂 Had to buy some waterproof gloves and socks, my feet and hands were frozen! I'm no wimp...actually maybe I am 😂😂😂
@@GigHustle I've not managed to get out all week. Was planning to go out at weekend but saw the weather report lol. Think I'm going to challenge myself and do a full week next week.

when you are knackered, and have the option of going home and seeing your bed, it is a test of character not to quit right there. you passed! Proper respect for doing this video
You get used to it, I’ve always been rubbish at sleeping. I can usually do two nights of no sleep, I do get dizzy though, like Bambi. I work for myself now which is better because teaching when you’ve not slept is a bit rough. But at least I’m not riding around London! My idea of hell 😂 I’m way up north in Yorkshire but I’ve not had a grumpy or rude delivery driver for years since the apps took off.
Just seen this for the first time, you did 24 hrs delivering but you were up well before that waiting for your friends bike and other little things, this time all adds up, having done lots of 17 hrs shifts it knackering, respect for what you did.
I do UberEats & Deliveroo from 7am till around 9pm on a pushbike not electric and I struggle to do that...only thing that motivates me is knowing i get weekend off to sleep
I can't even stay awake for 24hrs, let alone work and ride a bike safely. Well done. Edit- ha! I just got to the part where you say the exact same thing.
huge respect! Swappable batteries not being an option (I'd assume with your particular ebike) I think you'd benefit immensely by bringing along a fast charger like the satiator by Grintech from CA. At 8amp even a 15min top up would give you that much more range (or even the ability to keep driving on 5 all night.) Maybe work something out with a kebap stand or bodega to use their outlet if theres no public ones available.
Great video mate. I reckon your 24 hour non stop video compared to the others you mentioned, shows a realistic look at how it would be for the everyday rider.
11:18 Fun fact for any of us NA folk confused about why there are jagged lines on the street here. I looked it up. "Zig-zag road markings warn the approach to a pedestrian crossing. For maximum visibility in order to ensure the safety of pedestrians, you must not overtake another vehicle, or park within the zig-zag area."
its interesting to watch this, you have shown and probably highlighted the lengths of these types of employment models can have not just the effect on you but your close family. There are many many workers who don't get to see their children due to the hard work they do to provide, you mentioned your wife and kid a few times. Let alone the fit an healthy workers there are people that suffer with health related issues that give them a sleep deficit which can make them a risk to everyone and anyone. Sleep deprivation is seriously under estimated in the work place, you are a fit man, imagine doing this type of shift 3 times a week or more? How long did you take to recover? that would be a good follow up. Great video ~Trooper
Well done bud. I take my hat off to you. I've only managed 17 hours as that is max hours I'm able to do in my area as Deliveroo only opens at 11:30 and don't think there is anything open after midnight on Uber/JustEat(Stuart). To be fair even if able to I doubt I would manage the 24 hours without going home for an hour and then giving up once sat down lol This video should hopefully do really well for chan. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your comment and support on the video brother and trust me its hard i went home to get some gloves after losing my other ones and The hardest part was not getting into bed! But super happy that i done it now looking back at it
@@LondonEats Indeed you should be proud bud. When watching video and seeing you go home for gloves I remember thinking that is where my challenge would have likely ended.
Being clever with your nutrition can make the difference between it being easy or horrible. You ate the wrong thing! But still fascinating to see. Well done.
Damn you a monster dude!! I've done motor bike tours without sleeping 30 hours and the hallucinations that kick in due to lack of sleep are very trippy.
I hope you weren’t riding on the road cause that might not be something to be proud about. You should definitely sleep if your out on the road. You need to be in good shape so other people aren’t at risk. But impressive regardless well done for your determination and strength of character.
cool video. i think it would be nice to see the time or how long you’ve been going in the corner of the screen somewhere if you ever did this again mate
I bought a spare battery for my e-bike, and I don't regret it. I can either double my range, set the pedal assist much higher, or if I lived in a dense city, I could ride on one battery while the other charges at home. You could, in theory have 2 spare batteries charging and basically always have a full battery waiting at home the next time you stop by. But it may not be worth it if you don't do 24 hour shifts often.
I’m a just eat rider just applied for Uber eats after watching these videos I’m super interesting in documenting myself, you see some crazy stuff sometimes
Bet that felt wild to go from the normal bike to the electric assist aha! Waiting around in the dark and cold for the next order must have been roooough man... then you lose the gloves too, yikes!!!! Good stuff to push through and get it done.
Super weird to go from normal to electric bike for sure, I'm happy I can say I've done it the mighty 24 hours! Thanks to you for your video I was inspired to do it!
Great job. If you could angle the camera up a bit it would be a more comfortable view as all we get to see is the phone and looking down at the ground a bit. It would be preferable if the bottom of the phone was aligned with the bottom of the view so we cold see the view ahead a little bit like this view at the 7:50 mark in your video. But I guess it's not easy for you to see what view is being recorded at the time. Also, with a 24 hour marathon like this, it would be fun to see an onscreen timer, order number counter and revenue counter so even if there are edits (as obviously the video can't be 24 hours long) it would almost gamify the viewing experience more for the viewer.
You must be fit like goku by now. You where amazing and really tantalised me in joining ubereats. Sorry about lost gloves but goes to show what can happen at long hours.
