the whole band is really awesome, but the sax guy is really something else the way he plays; stan getz flavor.
Jobim. The greatest mood setter of all time. He brings you in and then slays you . I love it.
Great voice... The guitar sounds perfect, the sound in this studio reminds me of the legendary recording of jobim, Getz, Gilberto..a sound that made history and is quite the opposite of many overproduced orchestral bossa interpretations or bitchy mass productions. jobim, brasilian intellectual, who studied classic music of Debussy &, others very detailed, a genius one of a kind, brought his version of jazz to the USA, and they met in New York and recorded within an afternoon or so..... One try, one shot... Unbelievable. Stringspace captured that magic, I believe intentionally. Well done, great musicians.

For the Jazz lovers. Sax, guitar, drums, base and then the coolest sounding vocals. Everyone’s just come together to produce an amazing, improv version of Corcovado. Listening to it and loving it.
This is bossa nova, not jazz.
Briana has a very distinctive voice, i have'nt heard this piece before with this level of clearness.

God took his time when creating this beautiful lady and her beautiful voice.
Great performance of a great song but that sax player, wow, the way he made his entrance was fantastic. I'm a horn player and I have to believe that took tremendous control to make that note with a reed, just wow.

It's very important to notice that Eugene Lees, who wrote the English version of Corcovado, captured the overall meaning of the original Portuguese lyrics. Outstanding job!
