I guess I'm going to comment multiple time LOL - you're so right about the positive energy from early PC. It was just a middle-aged lady with a dream, trying to source all this doll stuff. What she accomplished was amazing. The first time I encountered AG, I was in 1st grade in 1991 and when I saw the books, I was in love as a little baby history nerd in my nearly post-dinosaur phase. Then when I finished that book AND SAW THERE WERE DOLLS.... EXCUSE ME??!! I was obsessed. My mom saved money to get me Kirsten in Christmas 1994, I waited and begged for 3 years for a Kirsten. She said it was the most expensive present I ever got (and we were really poor). I still have my Kirsten, 30 years later, she is 6 feet from me at this moment. I begged my mom to make me a Kirsten/Laura Ingalls prairie dress and she made one for me and my sister and there are Olan Mills portraits of us in them, my sister was NOT into AG or dolls (even though her name is Samantha), but she was always supportive of me loving dolls, even now LOL. There is a picture of her laughing and smiling with me when I got my Felicity from my grandma, I cherish those pictures. There was so much joy in these books and dolls back in the 90's. I feel like it's really cold and corporate now under Mattel, but those PC feelings in the 90s... can't beat that nostalgia. I feel sad you didn't get to experience that when you were a boy, but to be able to live in those moments now, it's special too. It was great seeing your joy at finding a rare set of Molly skates you've never seen before. Wow, that was a rant. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Thank you! It’s been suuuuch a long journey! I’ve still got some random odds and ends to find from her later collection, but the core is pretty much complete!
I know it's a hard decision to make about the water, but I think replacing the water and having it look so fresh and pretty like in the catalogue would be nice. Especially if you know how to do it!
I think the risk of messing it up also plays a factor! This is why I end up with so many duplicates lol. A perfectly original, and one for experiments hehe
This is so awesome! Molly is my favorite American Girl, I recently got my first signed Molly and am in the process of finishing up her clothing collection. Congrats on your 1986 finds!
Are you selling the stuff you do not want on your website? If not, where do you sell them? also thanks for this super long in depth video! I very much am enjoying it so far!!
Molly is my favorite AG for sure, so this video made me quite jealous 😂 I recently bought Mollys nurse doll with the box it comes in for around $60. It was also a confirmed 1989, so that was very exciting! I’m looking forward to growing my collection, although I don’t think it will be as impressive as yours. Congrats on your purchases! 🎉
Thank you for sharing this video!! I truly appreciate the information you share. I am a new AG collector and am mostly interested in the historical dolls, so for me these videos are great!! Thank again and congratulations on your finds!!
Please do a video talking about the Kurt Adler and other 3rd party companies and people who worked on the pleasant company it's something's I'd love to know more about besides the dolls of course.
Hi! I just acquired the Molly’s red skates with the black wheels with plastic “hubcaps”. I was so excited to see them on your video! I can’t find anything about when they came out etc. I’m was wondering if you had found out anything else about them? Thank you! Teri
Hi Jonny, new subscriber here. I collect a hodge podge of AG, but what I truly LOVE is the historical . I loke the years from the first AG girl up to 1970 Julie. I do collect others but I don't try and get every piece. Could you advise how you track your collection. Do you have a note book, a spread sheet. What have you found your best wat to store and access your treasures? Thanks!

I need help identifying what Molly’s glasses look like?
I have a pair straight legs no lenses. Can they be fake?
I see the MLP in the background cool that you collect them too.
Also, which boxes did Molly's nurse with bent arms come in?
How many stars are on Molly's flag? It shouldn't be 50 since Alaska and Hawaii weren't states yet.
The 86 Molly meet swather is bright compared to my Molly
Please do videos of you restoring items I don't think theirs any video's on fixing and restoring dolls items
The loop is small on the yo-yo that I might be able to fit it on my Pinky finger and play with it
