i wouldn’t have called it disgusting, it’s a natural part of life and how we all get here! It’s definitely good to educate yourself about it but i would use words like disgusting. It can be insensitive to those who really wish to get pregnant/give birth and can’t. It’s a beautiful thing. And then just like that..after 2 weeks of binge watching all your videos from the very start , I'm now onto the last and very latest video of your channel...so happy I randomly found one of your videos on Facebook...I've had so much fun watching all your videos especially when you're with your family... it's fun to be a part of your journey...
I want to add this lol. When Katie said "I dont think i can spread my legs around strangers" Believe me, when you are in labor, you do NOT care how many nurses stick their fingers up there to check your dilation. When its time to push, you are in so much pain/tired/exhausted or whatever you just want that baby out promise
Love this!! When it’s their baby I guarantee all the things that freaked them out in this video will change! I’ve had 2 babies and when I was in labor and even just pregnant I didn’t care at all who was down there 😂😂
Loved your reactions! I can tell you both your emotions will be all over the place and your hearts will be full of love! ♥♥ Also, after baby is born and Josh cute the umbilical cord Katie will expel the placenta which is where the remainder of the umbilical cord is attached. Excited for a Jatie baby when you are ready!
I wonder if they saw that part. Too me that was the grossest part. It's actually a lot that comes out. I was surprised the first time my baby momma gave birth. So long ago already. They grow up so fast too.
I’m a new grad nurse and watching your reaction was really entertaining 😂 I saw one live birth during my nursing school clinicals and I thought it was the most amazing thing to witness. To me the most “gruesome” part is not the baby coming out but the placenta
Watching this vlog of Katie is so real now that they are having a baby and just see how josh is going to be when she is giving birth he is going to be so supporting for katie
Me watching this as a labour and delivery nurse. Here are your clarifications: - the whole umbilical cord comes out because attached at the end is the placenta which also comes out. - pooping during pushing is common and is you're pooping you're basically pushing right. Dont worry we quickly wipe it and it's nothing to be embarrassed about - you have to pee at least 6 hrs after delivery. If you can't, we'll put a catheter to drain the urine out. Also if you get an epidural you have a Foley catheter draining your pee in a bag bc you cant feel when you have to pee. We take the Foley out right before pushing - I have had moms push for 2.5hrs and others that only pushed for 3 mins. If it's your second time its usually faster bc your body is amazing and it remembers - no needle stays in your back for the epidural, only a plastic tube stays in - my only recommendation is please don't set any expectations because that can get you disappointed. You can be 9cm and an urgent c section may be needed. You can be pushing for what seems like forever. Just go with an open mind and hope that baby is healthy, no matter the means to get baby out. Let me know if you have any questions
When he pulled out the Go Pro and the camera and started taking pictures, my Gosh did I die of laughter😂😂Anyone else think Jatie’s laughs are so frikin contagious holyy😂😂 👇

Advice from someone who went through this TWICE. Go in with a birth plan. Birth plans are a LIFE saver! I had my son first. 25 hours 38 minutes before he came out. I pushed him out in 6 minutes and that ring of fire is REAL.. let me tell you. With my daughter, I had her in 12 hours and it took 4 pushes to get her out. I went natural with her for 6-7 hours without an epidural. My son's epidural did not kick in by the time i had to push and that fire pain was something. Basically a blowtorch to the lady bits. With my daughter, I went in there planned and knew i wanted to go natural for as long as possible. So i did a lot of walking around the room and just letting nature do its thing. If you can afford it, getting a doula would be best! It's so much healthier for you and baby to do natural just because that's how nature intended, but never be disappointed in getting an epidural. Like I said.. that blowtorch lady bit pain, ya don't want it. Advice for Joshy B... Whatever anyone says... do NOT look down til baby is either mostly out or they are literally pulling baby out. If you can handle all the blood and possibly having to watch them give her an Episiotomy (where they take scissors to cut the hole open more to get the babies head out easier) i suggest just staying near Katie B's head and supporting her in her pushes :P Either way, y'all are gonna do great when the time comes! Katie, as much as it hurts, it's 1000% worth it in the end!
I've had two babies. The first I had an epidural. It was a pretty sucky experience tbh. Felt nauseous, made me throw up and shake really bad, plus I tore and it took a LONG time to stitch me up. The second I had no epidural or pain meds and was a much better experience and recovery and only had like 4 stitches. I felt so much better afterward overall too. Plus I liked that I could walk right after. Definitely research for yourself. I thought I would for sure have an epidural with all my births but when I read about it natural sounded like the way to go if possible.
I get why they choose the needle over natural birth, the second hurts more. But in our country it’s rare to not have a natural birth - it’s just not the norm🙆🏼♀️💁🏼♀️
2 kids here! Every pregnancy/ labor & delivery is different!! I was in labor for 15 hours with my first daughter and pushed for about an hour 2nd baby in labor for 4 hours (false labor for 3 weeks straight before that) and pushed her out in 1 push. Having a baby is a crazy but beautiful experience. Also people do water births as a form of pain management when not wanting an epidural! Your views of watching someone else have a baby vs. you doing it yourself will be so different! Sending good vibes for a healthy future pregnancy & baby Katie and Josh!
Also pushing is like taking the biggest shit of your entire life also if you poop when you are pushing they don’t even tell you they will just wipe it away they see if multiple times everyday!
