‘Some guilt.’ This man feels so much guilt that he took to alcoholism and fighting to forget the pain. Kenmochi needs some serious psychological help and maybe a kidney transplant…forget it if he is still a functioning real estate broker while being as drunk as a skunk for 14 years your liver and kidneys are god like.
Kenmochi's an interesting villain. Rather than the Majima/Nishitani type you might think he is at first, he's actually just a guilt ridden mess who's looking to be put out of his misery, or at least feel something other than self-loathing he has for himself by being punished in combat. There being that kind of nuance in the antagonists of the RGG games so much makes the truly evil ones stand out even more by comparison.
Kenmochi is a real highlight in this DLC for me- I really enjoyed both of his fights, his song's a banger, and I was *Not Prepared* to feel that sorry for that guy. And I love the detail that sometimes, during his second fight, he collapses and starts freaking out- you don't realize until afterwards that he's straight up seeing ghosts in the middle of the fight.
I love that detail too. Also the fact that he's one of the few villains (or at least side villains) for feels remorse for what he's done. A lot of RGG villains don't.
22:45 well this was suspicious his tone shifted quick when he got that call and it's like nothing else in the conversation matters even his own son. -sigh-
I found out about this dlc because of you Jess and let me say this, I finished it two days ago and it was sooo good! Literally had me clapping at the end and I don't really do that for a game lol thanks!
Ya know what, i've been watching a lot of your past playthorughs of RGG games and hell even Uncharted(kinda want to seeyou play 3 and 4 now) so I'm giving you my sub, you earned it, fun content
We all know Jun's not the type to turn a blind eye when someone's in trouble. In fact, his Judo arm lock could be useful if he decides to be a cop and apprehend criminals.
That whole fight looked like a callback to Kanda in Yakuza 3 for me. A long fight in a love hotel followed by a boss in a premium suite with the boss almost naked
for obstacle boss Kenmochi really surprised me how much depth they give to him despite in short amount of time at first he's similar to Akutsu being a muscle kind of guy with drunken problem but once they reveal the context why he's always get drunk so much I feel sorry for the guy sure he's shady but he's not the guy who want to harm innocent people let alone burn them
The fight with Kenmochi here brings to mind when we fought Kanda back in Yakuza 3 in a love hotel. If we are to believe Kenmochi describing Crimson Lotus to the girl, then it's seriously an interesting contrast to RK.
I agree with you Jess, it's VERY WEIRD that Sadamoto didn't tell Kaito the whole thing about Mikiko's family before. Suspicious even. I definitely still don't trust the guy 😑 Also, I knew Kenmochi was more than what he seems at first glance. I feel like he was kind of honest with the woman who was walking by his side, and that he was just the funny strong guy of the group who wasn't smart enough to see there were some people far worst than him among his friends... He may be the arsonist, but I trust him when he says that he really thought nobody was home. His regret and PTSD, the way he craves pain and alcohol to forget, show that clearly. Glad I was right about him.
Dang Kaito have you Ben eating greens my boy? If anything I would want Kaito to fight with me fighting against me have you seen his muscles Jess Kaito looks like he could snap my arm like a toothpick
Exactly like what do you do against someone who lifts a whole bolder like it’s nothing and who broke someone’s back like he does that a little to offer like I’m not fighting against someone who’s arms look like knifes joyous is that buff and has a lot of junk in his trunk
@@AGirlAndAGame he's a top dog for Matsugane family for a reason despite how many people see how dumb he is due to that incident (which was staged and Kaito have to do it for saving someone)
You know what? I hope Sadamoto is lying to keep up the act and Kaito is actually Jun's father. Sadamoto is an asshole to his kid and doesn't deserve him. I want it to be true mainly for Jun. He's been through a lot already. His mother is most likely going to end up in jail, if not straight up killed. Jun needs someone who actually care. Sadamoto clearly doesn't give two shits about him. Further, I also wouldn't be surprised if he was the one responsible for the murder of Mikiko's family. If you think about it, it happened shortly after their marriage. How strangely convenient...
I swear, it keeps coming back every time in a substory/side case. I remember when I was playing Judgment and meet Giant Impact. When he revealed that he is a virgin and OST plays this. I was like “How am I not surprised this song plays here.”

IT
ALWAYS
HURTS
The Kidney's and lungs of yakuza characters are always godlike otherwise they all would have died after their debut game.
50:00
Kaito: *Stands on top of car*
Kenmochi: “Oh sure… you ain’t shady at all”
Lmao 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Won't be long before the number of times Kaito gets put in a hospital exceeds the number of times Saejima went to jail
Lmaoooo honestly

I actually like that they made him this way. I honestly thought he was just one of the villains who truly doesn't care. It's a nice change.
He is like Akutsu but have tragic backstory. That's why I like him more

"TWO HOT MEN IN A HOT TUB" 💀💀💀💀
Not gonna lie, the part at the end where they both got out of the pool at the same time was so badass. One of my favourite moments.
This boss fight was so good!
Have you noticed that Kaito fights Kenmochi in the same hotel Kiryu fought Kanda in Yakuza 3?
It’s also cool that the Hotel from 3 gets a Dragon Engine treatment which looks pretty great and almost identical.
@@RealCFZ RGG knows how to reuse assets intelligently.

Yeah, I don't trust him. Like I'd believe him if he quickly went "thanks" or something, but my man just ran off and forgot about Jun? Weird.
Only content creator who I look forward too for yakuza videos, nobody else does it like you keep it up 👍

52:17 this guy really did a hurricania lmao
"Two hot men in a hot tub." - Jessica LOL
Yo he pick up that rock like he was the hulk 😆
Kaito is something else 😂

This is a Great episode jess. Funny you mentioned yakuza 0, kyoya is voiced by oda voice actor from 0

I think Kaito would be a protagonist in his own game! That's what this DLC was mostly for to see if Kaito could do well in his own game!
That whole fight looked like a callback to Kanda in Yakuza 3 for me. A long fight in a love hotel followed by a boss in a premium suite with the boss almost naked
"Two huge men in the hot tube!" xD

I really enjoyed this episode so far. I'm looking forward to see the Final Chapter of this episode. 👍

Another awesome video again by my number one favourite youtuber ever

Hi beautiful 👋🥰❤
rgg gotta stop using the soundtrack at 20:20. i cant take anything seriously when that song plays.
I swear, it keeps coming back every time in a substory/side case. I remember when I was playing Judgment and meet Giant Impact. When he revealed that he is a virgin and OST plays this. I was like “How am I not surprised this song plays here.”
Please continue playing "Kaito Files Gameplay" on your RUclips Channel. 😎😄😊😇😮🤩
