As another year reaches its closure, we remember and honor the pop culture, the music, the stars, the good and the bad times of 2017. Thank you for being so supportive of my work and my progress through remixing and DJing the last 10 years. Through blocked RUclips channels and disabled social media profiles, i always keep connected with you because of the music,
and a dream that keeps coming true..
Everytime i work on a PopLove mix, it starts a bit like "Oh no, we had boring music this year..." but it ends like "Wow this is a celebration!! Why didnt i notice this earlier?!!""
The music was not very high-energy this year, as ballads are making a comeback, but i tried my best to have a powerful mix, even with most songs being mid-tempo.
Its something about pop melodies that gets you hooked and hopeful. As cold as the industry often feels right now, lets re-discover the melodies and remember what music is all about, no matter the genre. THE FEELS.

Everyone who’s getting angry when certain songs aren’t included: not every song can be in the mashup. Some songs don’t mix! 75 songs were already incorporated. Robin did an EXTREMELY good job with what songs he did choose. But please, don’t get angry if your favorite song wasn’t there. There are dozens of top hits each year. Not all can be included :(

Robin, your remix (as always) is magnificent!
I must have listened to PopLove 5 about a hundred times, and yet, I would always find a new note I wasn't aware of earlier, a cheeky comment, a perfectly fitting one-liner from one of the songs. Even if it's "just" two chords in the background.
Your mashup has so many layers, it's incredible. And somehow it always makes me like songs a little bit more, than I would previously not be a big fan of. (That being said, I did feel like there was a little too much of P!NK's "What about us?", but I figure it was necessary to give the "outro" a strong backbone, that the other songs can build on.)
Keep being great, I will listen to this song for the month's to come, and can already hardly wait for next year's masterpiece.

Alex Greens Man so far Robin's and T10MO are neck and neck! I can't decide lol. You mind explaining what pushed Robin to 1st place for you. Also, I'd like to hear your thoughts on DJ Earworm's remix if you haven't heard it. For me his was a letdown, unfortunately.
And after relistening I definitely have to agree, Robin is first place for me. This time I rewatched on my surround sound and got a better idea. My favorite part on Robin's begins @ 3:54. I love the Shape of You/Despacito/Wild Thoughts/Attention/You Already Know mashup. Pretty slick how he did that so seamlessly!
