To all those people bitching about the crowd: what you see is the third day of a three day festival. Those people are tired, had to walk quite a while to get from the camping ground to the stages, it's pouring like a bitch, and they might have been there for the last five bands. Also some of you should really watch footage of a concert you yourself went to. It doesn't look that spectacular from above. That's why they give toys to the people so something is actually happening. I'm just glad public tv stations send crews to festivals and broadcasts it on the culture channel. How great is that? "Next up it's ballet followed by experimental theatre and then Bad Religion." I think that's just sweet.

But there was one good thing: Greg acknowledged my existence and pointed/smiled at me because I was right at the front and was the only one who knew the words, while everyone else at the front just stood there (because most people at the front were there to wait for Green Day). So that was fucking awesome

Die waren noch nie eine band die viel show und witze etc. macht die spielen ihre genialen songs mit fantastischen lyrics von dem sich das publikum in der regel schon angesprochen und unterhalten genug fühlt . Das zeichntn Bad religion aus und davon lebt die band.
Greg Hetson is missing because of some personal issues, as Jay Bentley wrote on Bad Religion´s official page, in their last shows they have played with a guy called Mike Dimkich... We hope he came again with Bad Religion
I think the problem with the crowd was that nobody was really there to see Bad Religion. Believe me, I was there. The center stage line-up on that day was All Time Low, Royal Republic, Bad Religion, Simple Plan, Kraftklub, Sportfreunde Stiller and Green Day. So most people who were there on that day were young people, a lot of little girls and pop punkers. It was just the completely wrong demographic.
For some personal problems he had to return to the USA for an indefinetely time...Mike Dimkich (The Cult guitarist) replace him for this tour. Hope to see Greg very very soon again on tour with BR :-)
Rock am Ring was the most commercialized Festival of all times...guess who goes there? 90% of the people barely know the band that play there. Sad but true. You may spot some pink polo shirt guys. True music fans won't go to rar :D
Here in Brazil Rock in Rio is the same thing. In fact, there is nothing in Rock. Just missing Bruno Mars along with Metallica, a real joke. Anyway in the video you can see nobody shaking their heads because they do not even know what's happening, or worse still, they do not even know what they're doing there! Bad Religion is currently the best Punk Rock band. It would be absurd to accompany a live show and not get caught up in them.
