Of the 70 million, how much actually goes to building the road? Seems like a few pockets got fatter
Just another way to transfer taxpayer dollars to their friends via contracts and kickbacks. That’s all politicians to transfer taxpayer dollars to their and their buddies bank accounts
So it’s been 7 years when the exemption was approved. So why spend more money. What a waste of $$
Scammers 70 million no way
How many runways have you built?
@@kevelephant1311 more realistically like a 70,000k job, not 70 million.
@@ljrockstar69 Not even close! 70,000 will get you a extra long driveway..
@@kevelephant1311 okay $700 dollars will be better.
How much cost to get the super ferry back?
To paint lines that'll be $980 billion.
What a JOKE. I am sure there are alot of concrete businesses out there that know the costs of materials...and the cost of fill material cannot be that high...who is overseeing the math?
So you've never done any concrete work but somehow you know the right pricing for concrete work??
@@kevelephant1311 anyone can look up the price of materials. A D-10 bulldozer to move the dirt is 1 million new. A truck and a loader probably the same. 10 people making $100,000 for a years work is another 1 million....cannot imagine the foundation or materials cost are $50 million. This still leaves the company doing the work $30 million in profit. Well, I imagine the engineers want a few million... Please educate us all further on the material costs. Thanks
@@kevinhuddleston6438 You forgot the concrete laying machine.. The concrete mixing trucks.. The tower used to mix the concrete. And the rest of the crew because it won't be 10.
Not to mention the myriad of powered hand tools... And trucks and gas money to get crews back and forth... Assuming that you have a crew on site who is fully trained for this and doesn't need to be flown in!
Anything else you would like to add?
@@kevelephant1311 so total costs now around $30 million with your add ons?
Even if we buy the trucks and the tower...and all the tools...do you agree $70 million is correct? We can up the man hours times 3...so 30 people making $100,000 for the year is only $3 million in labor. I am just trying to wrap my head around the expense for a 800 foot landing pad...800 feet...smh
I’ll do it for 69 million
What takes 50 plus years 😂
What takes 50 years is for HI to finally wake up from DEMOCRATS.
Thank goodness. This is really good. The runway is short and it needs more length.
What a bunch of BS. Name one plane that went off the edge. I could think of better ways to spend 70 million dollars.
