I think recently England has had a resurgence in its glory winning the under 20 and under 17 World Cups, and having its clubs winning the UEFA champions League such as Liverpool and Chelsea with England finishing top 4 in Russia 2018. England does deserve to be champions of Europe and to win a major tournament after 55 years since they last won a major title which was the Fifa World Cup in 1966. England does have a rich history with 1 Fifa World Cup 1966, 3 Olympic Gold medals as Great Britain, under 20 and under 17 world cups. This young generation of England is lucky to see a resurgence. Although I would say England had some decent teams in 1998, 2002, 2006 in the David Beckham and Michael Owen era.

I mean first of all it was no penalty. Second there was a second ball just lying next to sterling which means the situation wasn't even allowed to be played. Furthermore, English fans yelled and whistled during every anthem and pointed a laserpointer into schmeichels face during the penalty. That's not sportsmanship.
@@malte4793 Danish free kick shouldn’t have been allowed there were too many Danish players in the wall closer than 1m to the English which means it should have been retaken, that’s before you take into account how soft the free kick was, danish player went to ground with minimal contact form Shaw. Did you remember the penalty on Kane? How that was not awarded I will never know, so even before the sterling decision went ahead it should have been 2-0 England. Try not being so biased it’s embarrassing

If you watch it back literally one second before Sterling went down he dodged past one player and his left leg took a clip then on the second instance his right leg was clipped. The referee has made a decision based on an accumulation of knocks and has said that’s enough and awarded the penalty. You need to watch the replay back of his whole run into the box to see and not just the part where he went down which everyone is so focused on. A clear penalty and a clear view from the ref.
