- If you noticed that the passenger side wheel was off in the video, it's because I'm doing some rust repair near the quarter panel.
Since I was using KBS rust seal coating again and it tends to dry out rather quick I decided to remove my rear bumper and finish up the rest of the can.
The black that was previously sprayed on the car was Rhino Liner which you can see didn't stick everywhere the greatest.

So, am I correct that your crash pad perfectly covers the entire cargo area and doubles as a sleeping cushion ? Metolius tri fold ?
Yes, I have the Metolius Recon CrashPad.

I'm sure there is something similar that is cheaper, but I use this when I go rock climbing so It's dual purpose.
I just really recommend a folding style mattress.
It's so easy to just flip up a 1/3 of the mat and access under the seats or the spare tire area.

Do you ever get any rust in the top hatch mounts?
No Rust, but over the last few years the hatch mounts have been primarily covered by the roof rack & cargo basket setup.
I haven't heard of anyone experiencing rust issues on the top hatch mounts, just some leaks where the seam welds are.
