It's been 4 years since I found this one, I only get tired of it and start playing redundunt improvs when I've played it over 50times in the last weeks. Then give me a couple of months and it's feels all fresh and energetic again.

absolutely love the funky 12 bar tracks, thank you for the track! endless hours of fun, wouldn't be where I'm at without these tracks. lightbulb moments, being lost in feel, and moments of inspiration are frequent when I'm jamming with AUsher Tracks :-)

Thanks Braden, that's awesome to hear! I love a funky 12 bar blues too, they are just great fun and you can really focusing on the soloing as don't have to worry too much about the structure of the track :)
      Keep practicing! Thanks, Andy

What a great track to explore developing themes and nice work around the 11th to 13th frets. If this were available as a lead lesson it would be a good helper to understand the blend from major to minor in different positions. In the mean time I'll look on with a finger over the pause button. Thx Au, great track.

Thanks Redrock, great to hear you enjoyed the track as well as a the guitar solo! I don't currently transcribe the improvised solo but it's something I may start doing in the future!

That's so awesome, especially when you play the solo, its very good for rhythm training, to keep up with the rhythm pace and still listening to what you are playing.

What am I missing because this sounds better played using C minor pentatonic. Starting the pattern at the 8th front. If it were the major pattern I would startt at the 5th threat but that doesn't sound right e.g. A relative minor that is. I'm not at all questioning you and the track sounds great
I'm just trying to better understand for myself. Thank you. Typically whenever I see a track is major like a jaz Z piece I'll play the 1st position of the major scale starting on that tonic note and then to play the relative minor I'll slide down 3 frets. That doesn't seem to work with this one. I guess I don't fully understand the theory.

Hey D G, thanks for your comment!
The chord progression is major with some comping adding b7ths. The bass line is also based around the the root, b7ths and m3rd to maj3rds.
So it gives it a mixed minor and major feel.
My advice for soloing over this is to , as you say, use the C minor pentatonic from the 8th fret. But try also adding the maj3rd to your scale. Crush or bend from the minor 3rd to the maj3rd . It’ll give you a great bluesy feel 🎸🎶.
Any questions just ask ! Also check out my solo at the end for ideas 👍🎸🎶

@@ausher Interesting, thanks. I guess I don't understand the theory enough. My general rule didn't work this time. Usually I play major scale but in this case, the minor penta sounds better. Those two extra notes didn't translate well- probably because you are using the flat 7's. Great sounding track regardless.
