I was already sleepy and went on the ride with them, I had a little black backpack with a minnie mouse wallet and put it on the side. When we got off I left my backpack there, I ran back and told the person that I left my backpack there, someone turned it in & the assholes took my money. Honestly, even before that experience I would always turn in stuff I would find but because of how shitty I felt when assholes took my money that I was going to give back to my mom, I never took money from purses or wallets when people forgot them. I'm like 27 and still salty af about that day.
My aunt moved to Arkansas about 4-5 years ago because prices were rising and she and her husband were working 7 days a week just to pay rent. They moved to Arkansas and they bought a home, something they could’ve never afforded in CA. A 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with 2 car garage in a nice neighborhood. She said if they hadn’t moved they wouldn’t be living as comfortable as they do now.

Like, they had rough spots, so now that they’re successful, they have the chance to give back, you know? For example, they could do a campaign against youth substance use and combine it with comedy and stuff, or they could promote education since Joe didn’t even know going to college wasn’t just for geniuses. I’m not trying to be on a high horse or whatever, I just think that’d be really cool.

I have never stolen anything of value. I have "borrowed" pens in an office setting a few times but that's it. I don't think I culd ever steal from a private person tho, like personal belongings. I found a frickin Iphone lying on the ground once and I picked it up and thought about it but ultimately I put it back down on a bench cuz I kinda believe in karma and stuff so I imagined that if I take this phone with me it probably has a tracker in it and I will get caught and it's simply just nor worth it. I know some people think karma is just fantasy but to me it's very real. Like if you do bad things then bad things will come back at you. But karma doesn't have to be about divine judgement, to me it's like if you treat people badly they will treat you badly back. Very simple. So in conclusion greed never pays off, cuz with stolen money comes a million more problems in return. Even if you are a very skilled thief and has not been caught for years, misfortune will slowly creep your way and will one day hit you like a bus.
