- We started our day by visiting Kumbhalgarh fort, as that episode was little longer, we thought of making 2 separate episodes of fort & sightseeing.

This video was shot on 1st September 2022, below are the activities we did throughout the day.
Lucky Restaurant - We had Breakfast near Kumbhalgarh Fort, at Lucky restaurant. If you want to eat something local, it can be done, however it would take 2 to 3 hours to cook food.
Ghisu bhai - 8875718328 - Rs 250 per person all together
Parshuram Cave - It is an ancient cave that can be reached down through 500 stairs. Due to my injury, I avoided doing that. There we noticed a famous Gavari dance was going on, which is a tribal dance performed by bhil tribe, during a 40 day long festival, which happens between July & September in the Mewar region.
Then we proceeded to see the origin point of Banas river.
Junagadh Lodge Kumbhalgarh - 3 Km from Kumbhalgarh fort. We had lunch in this lodge, Rs 250 Pitod Sabji, Pyaz Sabji Rs 220, Papad Sabji Rs 220.
Somebody told me that we can get local food there but upon reaching there we realized that this is a new accommodation, recently opened and food was average, we could have avoided going here. bcoz we went there with the intention of eating local food.
Room cost Rs 3500 room breakfast
Banas river originating point - We visited this place, this is a monsoon river.
On the way to Hameerpal Lake, we saw a waterfall from a distance.
Hameerpal lake is a natural lake, this place is quite popular as Fish Point. You will see African fish.
In the next episode you will see the journey of Rajsamand to Ranakpur.

बनास नदी पूर्णतः राजस्थान में बहने वाली सबसे लम्बी नदी है जो सवाईमाधोपुर के पास रामेश्वर धाम में चंबल नदी में मिल जाती है। वन(जंगल) की आस(आशा) होने के कारण इस नदी को बनास कहा जाता है।

Sir बनास नदी अरावली पर्वतमाला की खमनोर नाम श्रेणी में कुम्भलगढ़ से 5 किमी दूर राजसमन्द ज़िले में स्थित "वेरों का मठ" नामक शिव मंदिर में जन्म लेती है। फिर पूर्वोत्तर दिशा में बहती हुई यह मेवाड़ क्षेत्र से गुज़रती है। बहती हुई यह राजस्थान और मध्य प्रदेश की सीमा पर बहती हुई चम्बल नदी के समीप पहुँचती है और सवाई माधोपुर ज़िले में रामेश्वर नामक स्थान पर उस से संगम कर लेती है। बनास एक अनिरंतर नदी है, जो गरमियों में अधिकांश रूप से सूख जाती है। और इस नदी पर टोंक में बीसलपुर बांध बना है 🙏

Thanks for sharing the wonderful video. By the way Goram ghat railway is not narrow gauge but a meter gauge one. Earlier all railway lines in Rajasthan were meter gauge (except Delhi - Bharatpur - Kota - Mumbai line). Now only a few relics left.

Rajsthan muze lagta tha Mehlo aur Desert ka State hai. Itni greenary aur Water Body expect nahi kiya tha except few famous lakes. Bahot logo ka Rajsthan ke prati nazaria change hua hoga. Dhanyawad dil se.
