What's up with all the haters? Mac can ball and he's 19 for god's sake, plus Patrick Ewing limited his playing time all year (26 minutes a game means he basically sat for an entire half every game). He will develop so much in his sophomore and junior seasons.
Yep...he's going to the NBA, no doubt. He was a little wild a few years ago. I remember telling myself he has to mature & focus on improving & stop the show off stuff. Well he sure has improved a whole lot, well done young man...you're definitely going places
He'll get better. Now he got that 1st season out the way he know what to expect next season. I see his stats next season being something like this: 17PPG 3RPG 6APG.
I admit, I was wrong about judging this kid after watching his high school games on RUclips. Now that I've seen him play on the college level, he definitely is the truth. I see no reason why he can't be very good in the NBA. He almost reminds me of a Jason Williams. He'll be fine.
Me too. Hard to judge HS, talent spread is so uneven. I liked him but wasn't sure. He seemed a step slow to me....He didn't play on all-star team like Oak Hill....now he's surrounded by guys that know what they're doing and so doesn't look a step slow anymore....
Solid long range shooter that squares up on the rim. Relentless rim finisher. Great court vision and precise decision making. Unbelievable maturity and confidence for a young kid. I predict he's going to make it in the NBA. There's so many haters on this guy. Mostly self haters though.
The kid handles the ball equally well with both hands. Has a smooth easy motion and release. Can finish with either hand and spectacularly. Is quick, drives to the hoop both left and right. Is a good passer as well. Would love to see his defense.
This kid has a lot of potential. Playing this way as a Freshman is impressive. Add some experience with his talent and athleticism? Definitely will be fun to watch.
Kid's got skills, why does it seem so hard for some to admit the kid can play? He could have picked a school where he would have "stood-out" more. He picked this team because he knew it's a tough league to play in!
wow he is special electric fast like Westbrook can finish at the rim with variety loves that reverse crazy bounce has a 40 + vert at 6'2-6'3 can shoot the 3 and mid-range consistently that shoot looks so smooth I see a complete player but you no people will hate and probably talk about his defence 🔥🔥🔥🔥

In high school he averaged 35 a game but in d1 he averages 13 a game just goes to show you the level of competition in d1 compared to high school . big difference . Macs a Hooper .
Why are people saying he's too short for NBA? He's tall enough to shoot over people and he's pretty good at shooting. Mugsy was 5'3 and I think Webb was 5'7. Mac is 6'2
anybody can play now these days in the nba with it being eaiser to make it to the league these days and can't really touch people these days on defense anymore

@skills1ent georgetown plays team basketball its nearly impossible for any one player to shine.
He can pass, he can jump, he can shoot, he's fast, he goes for the loose ball... what more could you ask for?
In his case a fro
Get more playing time with a tan and a fro and be on probation for stealing nikes
How's his defense? I'm asking because I've never seen him play. He's a beast on offense.
Taller and darker

Mac is a polarizing personality because he was brash in high school. Now either you love him or hate him.
Mac plays with such drive & determination. Love watching him play. Go Mac!!!
Brilliant. He's aggressive to the basket. Plus his peripheral vision is on point. That's what makes a great player. Apart from skills and fitness
