+Rammus the Hedgehog well thats because rayquaza has a 45 catch rate (5.97% chance of catch with a normal pokeball at full health) and a wopping 29% (too lazy to go for exacts this time) on full health with a Quick ball on the first turn to catch rayquaza! its because he is necassary to catch him to go along with the story... but if you didnt catch him the first time (like me) you can faint cause he will sit there on the tower and wait for you to battle him again and catch him.

Besides the main quest legendaries ( groundon/kyogre, latios/latias and rayquaza, these three Regis were the most entertaining and worth while to catch because of all its leg work, time and effort required. They're pretty strong also. Also I loved that they actually appeared on the screen instead of us having to put our hands in mystery rings

it may be advisable if you are unlucky to not use a quick ball on regigigas, for that's a free turn near turn 5, meaning slow start would wear off and regigigas would hit you very badly if you are underleveled.
Catching Regigigas in Alpha Sapphire is to this day the most torturing experience I went through in Pokemon. Even though that was almost 7-8 years ago I think it took me around 100 ultra balls just to catch them. I believe it would've been a bit easier if 12 year old me knew how dusk balls and timer balls worked.

Giga is a combo of rock ice and steel and regigigas split its power in to 4 ( itself and the others). So it's regigiga becasue of the mix of the powers, so it's regigigas not reginormal.

easiest for me was Rayquaza for 2 quick balls, and the hardest so far was Heatran at 40 ultra balls
Rayquaza took me 1 great ball then I reset and got greedy and used a pokéball and I died
