One thing I notice with every Object show is that the first season is always silly and funny and usually the second season starts off silly and funny but then changes to a more serious tone.
Even tho I generally prefer s2 and 3, I ABSOLUTELY get what you mean about the dialogue. Dialogue in the later seasons is very refined, and it loses some of the authenticity of real conversations
I think the problem is they tried to make season 2 more intellectual than season 1 because season 2 is going toward a bigger storyline and they tried to import this intellectual way of speaking into season 3. That intellectual way of speaking doesn't really work for II as a whole but it feels even more out of place in season 3. In season 2 episode 9 at 9:40 and 10:02 knife made a good point and if the II team agreed with what knife said than the show would be better.
When you make something as a kid, it's more genuine, because you're passionate about it, whereas when you grow up, you're afraid of other people's opinions and start making things for the approval of others.
I understand your viewpoint, but I'm personally more fond of S3. Compared to S2, it's definitely closer to S1, but with much better quality. I guess it would be nice if they brought back some of the humor from S1, but I love S3.
I can see what you mean with the later seasons WebzForevz. As I'm a huge fan of Inanimate Insanity and I love the developments of the later seasons that really gave the development of the entire story as a whole. I'm not one to be negative about animation, but Inanimate Insanity's first season really made me laugh with some out of moment situations that really hit the mark with being random along with the suspense of who would win. As I agree with you that II's first season had an amazing introduction to a good cast with an even shot of winning for everyone, but even so I love how they developed new characters based around the objects that they are in later seasons. Even though the concept of characters having an even shot of winning left in seasons 2 and 3 I feel like its a change that Adam and the crew wanted to make to have these new contestants that they wanted to experiment with to see how the fans would react to how they played in the game for voting who they would want to leave next based on how or what they did. As it's very evident with season 2 especially how they planned for episodes that would connect into later storylines that would develop in the characters that made it the farthest such as Fan and Test Tube and even Suitcase. But even now that season 1 is over for 11 years now its still left an awesome impact it started with. I do like how overall the series has developed to where its not just focused on who will one million dollars but a host with dark a past, a coporation who's intentions are still left unknown, and an alien species that is scarred by the oppressors with an apple symbol (Not talking about the Apple coporation Lol). I just got into the series last year because of a friend along with some other object shows as well. I respect your opinion as a whole for why you see that Inanimate Insanity Season 1 was at its peak WebzForevz, but keep the good work with your videos!
I absolutely agree. For after watching the second season and the third season, I realized that the first is the most creative and funny. It really has something that is not in the new seasons. Everyone is horrified by the quality of the animation of the first season, but I can say that the next two seasons will not be compared to the first

While season three is adults making content targeted towards kids. The second season is the in between kind of ground. Starts off kind of like the first season, then gradually gears more towards the more serious stuff most people talk about from season two. Giving my opinions, I LOVE the first season, really like the second, and don't care for the third.
Yeah I do see what you mean about how the dialogue felt more natural and every character had a good shot at winning in season 1. I think that yeah the older you get the more clear and concise you try to write which conflicts with how people actually speak where they say slang and don’t have 5 hour speeches prepared. I think that in terms of why a lot of season 2 +3 contestants didn’t feel like they had a chance at winning is because some of them were designed to be early boots (e.g. tissues and blueberry) to allow for more contestants to have a chance at winning like balloon and paintbrush. Season 1 characters didn’t have too much depth which was fine for a season like that but season 2 + 3 characters didn’t either which can make them feel less deserving of the win in a season where character development and arcs were like the main focus of the show
I totally agree! There’s always something so charming about old object shows that I adore! I looove original BFDI, II1 and BOTO, and at first I didn’t know why but now I think I do. Modern object shows seem to feel more professional and refined, which is great! But old shows feel more childish and fun in my opinion, a true expression of creativity. Of course this is all my opinion and I do actually love a few modern shows as well! I hope I didn’t offend anybody-
I think BFB actually goes pretty close to being exactly like that charm. I think the reason why is because of how if your less serious, the more charming it is, if it makes sense. When your show is as serious as II2, they just simply don't have the time or energy or the tone is too serious to make jokes that are funny. Or maybe its just the writing. I dont know.

Personally my favourite object show season for Battle For Dream Island Again. I loved the development between the newbies and the original contestants, and the split parts of episode 5 were all really good I really wish either BFDIA continued or IDFB carried on for more than one episode. I also really liked extraordinary excellent entities and BFB 6 onwards until the split.
FINALLY!!! Someone actually is saying that II season 1 is the best season! I've been saying this for a long time now. People always make things seem so critical looking at this show, but they have recognize that all of the team was still kids and early teenagers. I honestly just think that the light-heartedness and overall fun of the show makes me like it a lot more than season 2 and 3. I even like the earlier episodes of II season 2, well until episode 8 or 9. II season 1 is finally getting the love it deserves instead of being blasted for not being like season 2 or 3.

This is also another reason why I think II season 1 is overall a better season, purely due to the fact that it hits all the right spots for me and isn't so serious.
Balloon in Season 1 was peak in my eyes. I liked the season one animation style better. Especially from 'The Arena of Death' to 'War De Guacamole', because the mouth assets are cute.

I think that if they simply just balanced more story and silliness, it couuld be better, but idk, I enjoy storywriting, silliness is cool but ii is my favorite cuz the theme is that yeah, it's just a game, it's "nothing personal" right? So why does it feel so real?? I really love that theme, it kinda meant something to me, and maybe not every character is supposed to really get into the emotional side, like knife, which makes sense, but there had to be some time for exposition
II Season 1: A classic where the show acknowledges it's a shit show in its first few episodes and makes itself amazing out of it and then proceeds to make interactions more real but also really funny II Season 2: Darker and tries ripping heart strings where there isn't too much charm or great humor II Season 3: Just season 2 again with the season 1 humor and completely changes in tone once episodes hit double digits
I genuinely agree. Season 2 and 3 is just all dramatic, like alliances and conflicts too much depression, self-awareness and lots and lots of drama. Coming back to Season one it was just silly, random, hilarious and fun. But Coming back to season 2 and watching season 3 there just way too dramatic and less fun. i still love season 2 and 3 don't get me wrong, but i miss the season 1 style. i hope they will go back to that style honestly. I can see how this makes sense because in the seasons after, theres so much going on and a lot of foreshadowing that ruins the plot. Season 1 was just about fun and actually competing without some sort of shadow of guilt over the characters.
I agree that when you’re are younger the comedy and story comes in naturally. But being older the comedy comes in less your object gets less of comedy than it used to be.
Tbh, I think season 2 was the peak due to the fact that the season got depressing because the show decided to start focusing more on the characters than the competition
I agree, as good as Inanimate Insanity 2 & Invitational are, the original is definitely the best suited for the casual OSC audience, and has better humor in it.
The scenes was after pickle says he wants to be a know it all done like 4s which he calls him a metard an episode 10 after mephone says, one of the eliminated contestant would be rejoining the game nickel says we know that metard which they had to remove because it sounded close to a slur also, in episode 10 there is a border joke, and OJ replies with, isn’t that kind of racist and no get said which they removed because OJ was talking about his voice actor and finally in episode 17 when paintbrush says wow that’s a lot of contest me phone calls, paintbrush, a unknown, gender, freak which they had to remove the entire scene, a paintbrush saying that’s a lot of contest
I'm sorry but I'm going to have to disagree with you on this. II2 is better because it gives the characters more in depth and I like its plotlines and arcs.
That's the reason why ii used to be expressive, but the expression felt a little unappealing when ii season 3 got released. But... there is something I have to say right now. I think the ii season 3 is still much better than nothing.
I really dislike season 3. I watched it because it's II and i hope it's getting good. But my problem with it is the character. I have the feeling every character still in the game are jerks they're all so selfish, so cruel, so "dramatic". I have trouble like these character because of théorie behavior none or them are likable. Every Nice character have been kicked out of the show. Every character that can make the public care for them are gone. II is now for me just a bunch of jerks competiting.

I see a lot of your points but I prefer the comedy writing and story they have in season 2 and 3. I feel like season had good comedy but was lacking in most other aspects. I feel like the change in II really gained more individuality and felt unique from other object shows. I’d rank it season 3 (balance of deep story and good comedy), season 2 (this season felt so different which felt good) and season 1 (still an amazing season with some of the best comedy but not much storyline and character depth)
Season 1 of II has really good writing and is one of the only object shows that I can watch the whole season one straight without being bored for at least an hour, it is just really well written and has a feeling unmatched.
I personally think Season 2 is peak Inanimate Insanity. Season 1 and 3 felt more like they were trying to be funny, whereas Season 2 is more character-focused. They all have completely different premises, and you happened to like everything in Season 1 the best. Also about the thumbnail, Cabby, really? Hasn't the writing team demonized her enough?
Also, this entire video feels like a massive "fuck you" to anyone who likes Season 2 or 3. He didn't list any positives to the other seasons, besides "the people who made it are talented". I do love s3 and all the characters in there (silverspoon is personally my favourite but) s2, and s3 gets a lot more personal, like shows stuff that wouldn’t happen in s1, plus s1 was originally meant to just be a skit but people LOVED it so.. erm, plus i feel like the start of s3 was more aimed at younger audiences, rather then the average type of age for a kid watching object shows (usually 13-15) anyways jts still an amazing show buts1 just.. hits different yk

gonna be honest i feel like after 2:11 i stopped agreeing tbh i think that even if dialogue in season 1 is more 'charming' from the dialogue I feel like the other two seasons are better in almost every single other aspect and they also have their own charms that attract
And honestly I'm taking this to the grave I prefer more sophisticated and refined speech in these kinda things because it's a good indicator that this person at least somewhat knows what they're doing to me

I can see how this makes sense because in the seasons after, theres so much going on and a lot of foreshadowing that ruins the plot. Season 1 was just about fun and actually competing without some sort of shadow of guilt over the characters.

I agree that when you’re are younger the comedy and story comes in naturally. But being older the comedy comes in less your object gets less of comedy than it used to be.
Tbh, I think season 2 was the peak due to the fact that the season got depressing because the show decided to start focusing more on the characters than the competition
I agree, as good as Inanimate Insanity 2 & Invitational are, the original is definitely the best suited for the casual OSC audience, and has better humor in it.

Recently, some season, one clips from episode 8 10 and 17 were all removed because of Taylor and Lauren
The scenes was after pickle says he wants to be a know it all done like 4s which he calls him a metard an episode 10 after mephone says, one of the eliminated contestant would be rejoining the game nickel says we know that metard which they had to remove because it sounded close to a slur also, in episode 10 there is a border joke, and OJ replies with, isn’t that kind of racist and no get said which they removed because OJ was talking about his voice actor and finally in episode 17 when paintbrush says wow that’s a lot of contest me phone calls, paintbrush, a unknown, gender, freak which they had to remove the entire scene, a paintbrush saying that’s a lot of contest
I'm sorry but I'm going to have to disagree with you on this. II2 is better because it gives the characters more in depth and I like its plotlines and arcs.
Recently and april 2023 i rewatched inanimate insanity season 1, and i agree SO much, season 1 is just... the best

That's the reason why ii used to be expressive, but the expression felt a little unappealing when ii season 3 got released. But... there is something I have to say right now. I think the ii season 3 is still much better than nothing.
I really dislike season 3. I watched it because it's II and i hope it's getting good. But my problem with it is the character. I have the feeling every character still in the game are jerks they're all so selfish, so cruel, so "dramatic". I have trouble like these character because of théorie behavior none or them are likable. Every Nice character have been kicked out of the show. Every character that can make the public care for them are gone. II is now for me just a bunch of jerks competiting.
The show still has nice characters: Balloon, Bot, and Ying Yang, what have they done wrong?

Finally someone who appreciates the first season, it’s my favorite season but everyone has somehow agreed that II 3 is the best even though it hasn’t even finished yet, and that II 2 is the best, but II is always left in the dust, and it’s very funny and clever

I see a lot of your points but I prefer the comedy writing and story they have in season 2 and 3. I feel like season had good comedy but was lacking in most other aspects. I feel like the change in II really gained more individuality and felt unique from other object shows. I’d rank it season 3 (balance of deep story and good comedy), season 2 (this season felt so different which felt good) and season 1 (still an amazing season with some of the best comedy but not much storyline and character depth)
Season 1 of II has really good writing and is one of the only object shows that I can watch the whole season one straight without being bored for at least an hour, it is just really well written and has a feeling unmatched.

I personally think Season 2 is peak Inanimate Insanity. Season 1 and 3 felt more like they were trying to be funny, whereas Season 2 is more character-focused. They all have completely different premises, and you happened to like everything in Season 1 the best.
