Question: when a new taskboard is created, you have only 7 labels. If i change the name of a lable, the change is only referenced in that specific dashboard. How do i modify all 7 default labels that appear on all NEW dashboards?
Hi Johnson, I am afraid we cannot do that. VTB functionality is very limited and allows on configurations and not customizations. Maybe you can go ahead and raise an Idea on ServiceNow portal as this functionality makes sense to me as well.

Hi, Apologies for replying late to this. Yes, the labels created in a specific VTB can be used in the same VTB and nowhere else. They are local to that. They cannot be used outside VTB because 'Labels' functionality is only available in VTB and would have been built to tag tickets on VTB. However, if you want to create global tags for your tickets, you might have to get out of VTB and create global tags in any record. I have created some Guided VTBs. The Show compact card option is locked. You can't change it from compact to show more details. But in your demo, you were able to switch between compact and non- compact cards. Why do you think mine is locked

Hi Manasa, Right now, it is not possible to customize VTB much. You might have to connect with ServiceNow product team for further help. Also, they might charge for their time.

Hello Hardit, Need your help to understand that can we create the Hierarchy in Visual Task Boards for different stakeholders. Take a Example: We have Service Line Manager(Group IT Budget) who is leading to 4 different Project Managers (Business IT). Each Manager has min. 10 Support teams based on the core departments or Product. Now these 10 Teams have 5 Internal Managers (IT) Mainly for enhancement request: 1. Dashboard is created by Each Team Lead for Planning with Team members. (10) 2. Dashboard is Created by Internal Manager for Review with Team Leads.(5) 3. Dashboard is Created by Project Manager for Review with Internal Managers.(3) 4. Dashboard is Created by Service Line Manager for review with Project Manger.(1) All Dashboards have same Vertical Lanes (New Arrived, This Month, Next Month, Next Quarter, Completed, Closed, On Hold, Projects). Requirement is: When the Team Lead update his dashboard, all dashboards needs to be updated automatically. Please Reply if you read this comment.

I am not able to see the "Connect with Board Members", i have added the members also. But still can't see.

Does each upgrade ( patch or version upgrade) on your instance automatically trigger the creation of a VTB .
