I have both versions: the original and the intense. I love them both. They are different from one another: original is nice. But the intense is so addictive to me, I can’t stop smelling my wrist (where I sprayed it). It all depends on a person’s preference of course.

I like the original and I have the gift set. The scent is such a lovely authentic magnolia floral that is even addicting, light and fresh. Its definitely not one of those sickly scents that give you headaches.
I know I liked the original Beautiful. I remember my mom didn't want her bottle anymore for some reason in the early 90's. She gave it to me and it was my first grown up perfume. I wore it to a middle school dance and I felt very fancy indeed lol.

I haven't tried either, but from your description of the notes I think I'd actually like both. The original sounds like what I like in spring/summer, and the intense sounds perfect for me in fall/winter. But since a 50 ml bottle of Born in Roma is currently on its way to me I can't even contemplate buying anything else at the moment. 😊

I have never found anything as good, but it’s still fun exploring new scents. Since watching your videos I have bought 2 new ones, I do find small samples hard to come by these days. Debenhams always used to have 1ml samples of this and that so you could wear for 2-3 days before buying, but hard to come by now.
I just bought the original today. My husband swooned. I love white florals. The intense really didn't suit me at all. It was too manly for me. My husband thought it smelled like men's cologne.

Hi Linda! Those two are very different. Knowing is a strong woody patchouli. You might like the intense original magnolia of you find the original not heavy enough 👍
Soki, have you smelled Prada Infusion D'Iris? I have that perfume and like it a lot but iris is not a flower that grows in our country so I have no idea if that perfume smells like the real flower. Same thing with violets.😅
Beautiful Magnolia is an A+ but you cannot smell a trace of it in 30 minutes. In my 50 years I have never had a scent just vanish like that so fast. Such a shame. The intense version is actually NAUSEATING to me and a complete disappointment. The intense version is a train wreck. Awful.
The original one I have and love! I put it on after shower oil and it has a unique smell
