My wife is passing through a nightmare. When we arrived in Canada the immigration made a mistake in her letter, not allowing her to work part-time while she is studying at the college. The immigration didn't review any documentation when we arrived. We paid for a DLI which allows us to work in Canada. All her coleagues are allowded to work and she is not. We demanded a revision from the immigration services but it has been costly they do not respect any schedule, and once my wife called demanding her process, they told her that her process was delayed because they were on vacation and it has been almost 3 months since that. After infinite calls they told my wife that they reviewed the documentation and it would take an additional month for her to receive the correct letter.
Listen to what the Dean said. She said the 'partner' had oversubscribed meaning they are outsourcing the entire education to a diploma mill but allowing them to use the name.
Students should stop considering these 2 year diploma programs as a backdoor entry for PR - consider good universities for studies. The students are being exploited by multiple colleges who are marketing these diplomas programs as an easy entry for Canadian PR

Dun apply to this college, big scammers. They need your funds send thru a third party call flywire and this company will take certain % of administration fee if your study permit is refuse. Including the school administration fee, all in all you will lose about a thousand when refund. 😢
Not even an ounce of sympathy for the students, especially who consider these remotely remote colleges as a backdoor to entry to the country. They never study after flying into the country and are an obvious burden on the housing in the area. Playing victim is what this is. You get what you opt for. The college did them a favor.
