I agree with the experience factor. Hes got a lot of tape good tape. He sees the entire Field well, over and over hes hitting guys right in the hands 40-50 yards down the Field, elite escapability, elite running, stays in the fight, excellent accuracy. I was impressed. Interesting to see how it plays out. Most likely Purdy, Dobbs then T.M. Allen to Practice Squad.

Great video, like purdy mordecai was passed on by scouts because hes not perfect prospect. But like purdy he has "IT"

Thanks , I agree I think Mordecai could be a solid nfl qb. Even if that’s a solid backup for Purdy that would be huge win for a UDFA and keeps position cheap behind the starter with Purdy set to be paid.

NFL scouts have to be some of the laziest people on the planet…at least the ones grading QB prospects! They hold up Burrows and Allen as the ideals yet neither have done what Purdy’s done in two years in the league 😂

@@PhilosopherKing73 neither of them have a roster like the 9ers either… u talk about the pro scouts not being good but who the fuck are u? Nothing but a fan what’s really funny is how fans think they know more Than the pros especially 9er fans y’all are the dumbest fans in the league. Mark my words Purdy will be exposed just like kaep and jimmy was then u will just act like u never rode Purdy dick

Based on the little I've seen of Mordecai including from the training camp footage, he needs to work on his release and mechanics a bit. Purdy has a smooth and compact quick-release with excellent footwork, and that combined with his great pocket presence, processing time, and pocket presence allowed his game to translate very well to the NFL. I'm curious to see in preseason how Mordecai's sloppier mechanics does once he faces NFL-level competition in comparison. Purdy actually showed the moment wasn't too big for him either when he played in the preseason in 2022, so the upcoming training camp and games will be interesting to watch.

If you just compare their stats, mordecai was better than purdy in college. He isnt the biggest but for san francisco he's the perfect qb. Good video, always interesting takes.

Thanks, I think he’ll make a push for the roster and maybe even get the second qb job this year. Granted this is an early prediction.

I wouldn’t b shocked if he climbed the depth chart fast, he has a lot of experience for a rook and his competition is weak

If Mordecai is basically Baby Purdy then all you really need is a cheap 3rd stringer. I don't think Dobbs makes it. He's not a good fit and not sold on his ability to play at a high level.
