These tips are very helpful and specific. I would definitely attend your clinics if I were in your area! I’m retired and started playing 6 months ago. I have been active all my life, but have no experience with ball sports. I have been watching many Pickleball videos, but your tips stand out for being simple, specific instruction as to how to move my body. Your excellent instruction deserves a better delivery. Try writing out a list of points and delivering them in a more organized manner.

Great concise tips on improving your serve. I have watched a number of videos on serve technique but hear some suggestions on your short clip here that were totally new. Now I just wish that I could hit more powerful serves. No matter how well I position myself and swing through with my hips my serves are only average and anybody can return them easily. Perhaps hitting them deep with topspin is all I should worry about? Keep em coming! Thank you!

@bradw1261 real power comes from the weight exchange from back to front as well as the hip turn. Those two elements will give you a more powerful serve. If you are still struggling with power, try tossing the ball further in front of you (as opposed to your side) so that you have to really reach for the ball. Be sure that your weight transfer is happening (back to front), otherwise you will overreach and be ahead of your strike zone. Hope this helps!

Amazing! You are welcome. Yes, topspin plays such a big part!

Where is your contact point and ball release on your serve? How far out in front?

I loved your tips too but you dont follow through all the way on your swing. I thought you are supposed to hit the ball similar to a golf ball with the paddle ending up at your shoulder for top spin.
I also thought the ball went where your shoulders are hips are facing.
Can you let me know your thoughts.

Thanks so much. This video is tips for beginner, intermediate club level players. Tyler does It different however, he comes from a high level tennis background. We have never really golfed before.... Different tips work for different people, whatever works for you!

I'm watching each of your videos one day at a time and practicing what you instructed. Tomorrow, I'm going to try this serve position.

Great job. Where should your foot point to when you're serving from the left side? I'm guessing it's the same?
