  • Today I learn how to balance stones. An art, a skill, a hobby...give it a try, as rock balancing can be done anywhere. (Even at home!) With practice you can even learn how to balance anything. It's a challenge but also a very peaceful activity that keeps you in the now. Focused and present. Happy stone balancing!
On Tell me World, I pick random skills, try to learn them, while documenting the process to encourage people to do the same.
What would you like me to learn next? Comment below, the quirkier... the better!

This was a treat, your reaction to your success is great! That rewarding feeling is palpable even though the screen. In the past few months I've learned a few skills which I've always wanted to achieve (particularly juggling - took two days but I cracked it). Balancing stones has always impressed me but you've inspired me to give this a shot as my next trivial life endeavour.
Thanks a lot for sharing this with us!

Thank you so much for your comment. If I manage to inspire even one person to learn something then that's the true accomplishment. It's why I make these videos. And the moment I succeed is always very liberating!

Hey Loic! I came across your feed from the Yes Theory channel/groups!
Your videos are awesome! Looks like you try so many new skills and put a lot of effort into these videos! I know how that feels, and what's even better is that you're making all of your viewers smile throughout the process! Rock on man, just subscribed. Hopefully we can collab one day bro!!
As for a bit on myself (my name is William!), I started making content with the aim of teaching people to break free of societal norms by seeking discomfort & testing their own limits! A few months after starting, my friends told me to check out this channel called Yes Theory as they said my content reminded them of it.. and like you, I’ve been so inspired by the lifestyle they preach!!
Hope you have an awesome day and you are awesome, keep being you! 😁☝🏻

Man this is amazing!!! We just came to your channel through Yes Theory's community post (we also recently started a RUclips channel) and we love your vibe and the concept of this channel! It's crazy how you managed to pack so many valuable life lessons by balancing stones! What a roller coaster of emotions and what an incredible pay off to see you so pumped at the end!! Keep up the great work and hope we can cross paths or maybe even collaborate on RUclips one day if it ever makes sense! We love connecting with likeminded Yes Fam members ☺️💛

The “gimmick” is to put a little fine sand on the stones as you stack. Then blow on the sand when you have one balanced on another. The sand will be near invisible and your art will be beautiful. It’s not the only way to do it, but it’s probably how many of the common stone balance art pieces are made.

Interesting trick, I wouldn't have thought of it. It adds more friction so I can see how it would help with the stones staying in place.
