- This video will show you how to connect the smart port of the receiver to the FC for realizing the telemetry function. In this video, we will use the X4RSB and R-XSR as the examples.

is that pin on R XSR inverted or un-inverted telemetry? i thought it was un-inverted (1 read 1 . not, 1 read ^1 or 0)...please correct me if im wrong
My R-XSR does not have that pad...
Handy tips, but props off when powering up on the bench guys :)
This video doesn't tell you that you have to discover new sensors, enable it!
OK!
Thank you for this video especially for the R-XSR
Well r-xsr v1 with out the uninverted pads for sbus and s.port.. I have one question to that blunder.
Why should we consumers have to pay the price for frsky not having a
Clue that most are starting to use f4 boards?
Always happy with frsky.. but this had ticked me off a bit.
Here they show a clip of the most evident..
But they dont show a clip how we that has the v1 r-xsr can solve our issue so we can use our f4 boards.
I mean.. did the community have to explain all this? before they luckely for all others changed it so v2 r-xsr had pads for uninverted signal??
@VALIS The problem originates with the F4 chips. The chip maker is to blame for this.
Well how about showing us how to connect the first version of R-XSR.
I bought 4 pieces of R-XSR for my
F4 boards.. and found out the couldnt connect because they dont have the pads you show in the video.
This and the Ladida music ticks me of : (
Same here. Burned by this...

for telemetry where to take the output s.port with x8r?
in your vid you say for x4rsb that on rx connect to the inverted s.port that 3 legged creature, why cant i just use the 4 pin s.port plug on the rx and connect and connect the s.port wire to tx3?
Venom FPV I know this was a year ago, but it’s because S. Port is an inverted UART signal for the X4RSB.
Was a big help! Thank you
Nice Video :D
