Whee-in is the most skilled one in the group with such a rich voice, she's been the most public friendly MMM member since their debut, she has done so many wonderful collaborations but her company never cared enough to promote or even give her a proper debut stage! Hell even in their title tracks, she's always given the non-glamorous parts and you can clearly feel some favoritism from their company's side. Obviously, some moomoos will defend the agency at all cost but Wheein was never showcased as much as much as she deserves. Her company doesn't quite seem to care about her future career once MMM are done as a group.

Moonbyul has a lot of connections in the industry & she's such a go-getter so she gets better promotion compared to Wheein. I guess RBW thought the other girls were more marketable which is such a shame because Wheein is a great singer, dancer, performer, she's funny asf and above all she's so down to earth & relatable. The only period of time RBW paid any attention to Wheein is when she used to go to singing shows in 2015-2016 but after that it's been a downhill battle. For instance from May 2018 - May 2019 the only solo schedule they gave her was Secret Unnie. And just recently for her birthday they sold limited copies of the Magnolia CD a whole year after it's release & it was just a cd with no book & 1 track. And then they dropped the 25 MV a month after her actual birthday with no warning whatsoever 🙄 Just goes to show how much they really "care". I love everything about this MV. First, the outfits are seriously ON POINT. Second, the hair & makeup suit Wheein so perfectly. Third, although the choreo is short, it's cool af. Wheein's visuals in this MV are killingggg me!!
The vocals, keyboards & guitars have a wave-like pulse matching the liquid tone of her voice that's like thick honey, sweetness with a biting edge. This mix of pulsing rhythm and sonic texture washing over your ears as a series of waves seems to be their new aesthetic - Paint Me is totally structured that way and it's fascinating to see the concept applied to a different genre. After listening to it a half dozen times also began to pick up a BoA vibe in her phrasing at times, esp the section starting at 1:09 - there's a triplet thing BoA does a lot.

The taste of music is heavily subjective, it really does depends on the person. I personally would say that María by Hwasa is the best solo of Mamamoo. But if you consider Easy as the best, then okay.

I don't think she is underrated. I will agree that people don't usually attracted to her charm and mostly they became a fan through Solar, Hwasa and Moonbyul but i can attest that myself she is a bias wrecker the more you know about Mamamoo the more you will fall for her. Hardcore moomoo's have her as their bias. When she release the song Anymore it was number one in chart and did win in music show without live promotions and even this song was on top of the chart also. So for you to get on top of the chart people really recognize how good you are. Well according to their CEO WheeIn is the core/backbone of the group she support all her member and i agree to that after being a fan for 2 years. She is like a magnet who make fans stick to them more. Look at the number of views she have on her solo activities in YT it has higher views than her other members. I'm a Mamamoo fan i support all of them but i secretly cheer for WheeIn ssshhhh! it's a secret.

youre totally right in calling it a triplet! from what i hear is that it could almost be an anacrusis or a grace note.... but its the feeling that the melody is tripping rather than skipping as it has a third beat squashed into the a regular tuplet

I will agree that people don't usually attracted to her charm and mostly they became a fan through Solar, Hwasa and Moonbyul but i can attest that myself she is a bias wrecker the more you know about Mamamoo the more you will fall for her. Hardcore moomoo's have her as their bias. When she release the song Anymore it was number one in chart and did win in music show without live promotions and even this song was on top of the chart also. So for you to get on top of the chart people really recognize how good you are. Well according to their CEO WheeIn is the core/backbone of the group she support all her member and i agree to that after being a fan for 2 years. She is like a magnet who make fans stick to them more. Look at the number of views she have on her solo activities in YT it has higher views than her other members. I'm a Mamamoo fan i support all of them but i secretly cheer for WheeIn ssshhhh! it's a secret.
