They still make some good creator expert trains though. I personally don't think LEGO has slacked on most of their trains besides the City themed trains.

I've been working on several projects at the same time. There will be soon a video about a Lego Ideas project and a new automated rail crossing video is coming up too. Next to that I'm working on an automated container terminal of which you can follow my progress on my Work In Progress channel.
There is an awesome Lego Via Rail that needs support on Lego Ideas. It might be turned into a Lego set that you can buy. It can be motorized with Lego Powered Up. It comes with a baggage car that can store canoes, a sleeping car with a lot play features, and a dome car with a lot of play features. I really want this train to achieve support and be turned into a Lego set.
Just make sure that the difference in incline between two sections of track is kept small, nothing you can't sort out in 10 minutes of trial-and-error. And connect the track sections to each other with other pieces, don't rely on just the tracks connecting together.
Elevation should be easy, the real challenge is the decline. You can do things like removing power from part of the decline, so the train at least does not speed up further and also at the end of the decline make sure there is a piece of straight that will allow the train to get back to normal speed (during the decline it will pick up more speed) - at the very least do not immediately put a corner. Another small trick is to not let a corner be flat but to elevate the outside 1 (or possibly even 2) studs and leave the inside of the corner flat. Then you can use the natural forces to keep your train from derailing.

You should make a tutorial of how you elevate the track, a lot of us do struggle doing that.
Just make sure that the difference in incline between two sections of track is kept small, nothing you can't sort out in 10 minutes of trial-and-error. And connect the track sections to each other with other pieces, don't rely on just the tracks connecting together.

The tricky part is going from the slope to the horizontal part of the bridge. One must 'round' that angle, otherwise long locomotives will derail.
