I absolutely love your channel! Having grown up in Long Island New York and New Jersey I really miss all of these wonderful dishes. I live in Southwest Florida now and it’s hard to find good Italian food here. Keep up the great work! Your recipes are the real deal!
Really nice, simple recipe (and simple is GOOD). And delicious. You describe the process well, stressing the important stuff and also the "why"s" of what you are doing. It's how we can learn to cook. One comment. Be careful with garlic in oil. If it burns, it is ruined to me (bitter). I usually cook until I can smell it well. But that's me. Thank you.
Thats why italian food bar none is the best food in the world because there are so many side dishes like this nobody in world cuisine can compare !!!!!
@@rockybalboap7763 yep. Don’t forget, many Sicilian dishes are African based just like Caribbean. Polenta in Italy is Fungi or Coo Coo in the Caribbean. My opinion , Italian food is the best out of Europe, then Greek food. But you may be surprised of all the variations of Caribbean food. Not animal part is wasted which generates many dishes.
I just got done making this dish, and...Oh. My. Gosh!! It is so simplistic, and easy to make and it is delicious paired with a nice steak or by itself! Idealnie i dziękuję!!
At the end instead of adding Water I added Italian White Wine, turned out excellent. I generally prefer making authentic Italian dishes, I find a lot of American dishes too bland. This was very good. Thank you
Funny. You pretty much just did a video on the way 80% of my meals begin. I wouldn't be adverse to throwing pasta in there and squeezing some lemon.... maybe some shrimp.......but I guess that's a totally different project! Thanks Jim! Love to watch you cook. You're a natural!
Garlic and olive oil are staples in our house too. Shrimp and pasta both sound great with the broccoli. I might have to make a video for that combo. Really appreciate you watching and commenting!
So glad I found you on the "computer" you have entered my house in Oregon via my kitchen. Mozzarella Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms and Italian broccoli with garlic and oil for tonight. Add those to last nights lemon and herb salmon leftovers...thanks.
No they are two very different tasting ingredients. Broccolini tastes very much like broccoli. I wouldn't consider it a substitute for broccoli rabe. Broccoli rabe is a bitter green veggie with a very unique taste that many people love. Here's a video where I sauteed it with garlic and oil: ruclips.net/video/p0N81NNy5rQ/видео.html
I love broccoli, I love garlic, I love olive oil. Is this the perfect recipe, or what?
I do half olive oil and half butter. Love your recipes
Hey it sounds great with the butter! Thanks for checking out the recipes🙏
I have been trying so many of your recipe’s and they are all amazing! Your good at this! Thanks for sharing. We are enjoying everything so much!👍
I very much appreciate it!
I actually prepared it the way you showed, my girl loves it. THANKS
Thanks very much!
We love our broccoli done this way.

I have been trying so many of your recipe’s and they are all so good. We are enjoying them one by one. You are good at this!!! Thanks for sharing. 👍
love it. I usually make spaghetti with garlic and oil, and add some broccoli to it. Sometimes even capers. It's on..
good recipe for simple cooks like me. i will start making this and i thank you.
My 2 favorite foods. Broccoli and garlic. 😁
Love your recipes. I've been cooking Italian for years and you are a great cook! Learning a lot. Thank you
Thank you! Really appreciate the support😀🙏

Instead of adding water I like adding freshly squeezed lemon juice, it’s just add another flavor to it
I'm making this tonight. GREAT video. Simple instructions. THANKS
Will try this one out. Thanks.
Thank you. Short sweet and easy. I can't wait to cook my broccoli tomorrow. Cooking lamb cutlets.
Cheers mate. I had this at Friedman's in New York, and came home wanting to know how to make it, going to give it a try now
Just loving everything you do. Also enjoy watching how your videos have improved over time
Thank you! I intend to leave all the original ones up, though they are a bit rough around the edges, lol.
Yum, greens with garlic and oil! I always wondered how were made so delicious in the restaurant 🎉
Your cooking method works excellent, got my broccoli, just perfect.... Thanks for that! 😄
Great recipe! Made it for lunch today and it turned out superb. Thanks!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
I eat my broccolli and green beans more often now (they have flavor) thanks to your recipe

I love cooking Italian food But be careful with the lack of comparison to others. Caribbean food is just as involved and many dishes are similar.
@@fgs2732 italian food number 1 bar none? italian has 50 billion recipes? does the carribbean???

Great straight forward
Thanks a ton!
Patricia
Thanks very much!
I'll have to try this. I've been trying to eat healthier, garlic broccoli and rice has been one of my go to meals this is very similar

@@SipandFeast I really like your style! It's scary. I use about a quart of olive oil and 4-6 buds of garlic a month and it's just me.🤪
I know right! I should have a closet just for my oils and garlic lol.
I was also thinking a squeeze of lemon would add some brightness.
Beautiful!
Thanks for this
Yummmmmm-City!!
This is just Broccoli in the same sauce for Aglio e Olio. Which is a really good pairing really.
Looks delicious.
Thanks Timothy!
Awesome thanks 👍
Can you use same ingredients for garlicky mushrooms?
Yum!
what’s the single burner you are using ?

@@SipandFeast Just finished dinner simple recipes with awesome flavor.
Great Video Thanks
Does it make that much difference using two different olive oils?
My significant other is from your neck of the woods and she calls green beans string beans. To me they’re just green beans. This recipe was great!
Yeah most everyone around here calls them string beans. Glad you liked the recipe.
A Little!!! We may be British but have a big French Italian mix. We're using loads of Garlic. Love that stuff. (:
Thanks!
You're awesome! Binge watching cooking videos.
Thanks! Really appreciate you watching!
What's with the pan? Is it rusted or burnt oil stains?
This would be an excellent side for the Meatloaf recipe.
I think so too!
Thank you for all your Recipes...I missed the Other Sides you showed here. Please send to me❤
#southamerica awesome video
I just tried, it’s a killer recipe. I would hate broccoli now
Good guy❤
Looks yummyyyy cant wait to try! Is this your take on an original recipe/ where did you learn this recipe ?
Thanks! Sauteing green veggies with garlic and oil is a fairly typical way to make an Italian side dish.
Five second rule, right? You are the first one I've seen throw AWOL's back in the pan. Thumbs up (-;
add half a kilo of salt it will be good?
Amazing 👍👍🌷🍀
I have been making this side dish for decades.....but, I am having trouble finding that finer olive oil.
I get this oil locally, but I know Amazon sells it too.
Costco or world market
Instead of adding water, I added chicken bone broth.. currently making it! I’ll check in soon 🙏
Is broccoli-rob the same as broccolini?

I'm from Philippines ilike your side desh
❤️ broccoli 🥦.
I love it too😅
❤
Doneness .......every day's a school day.
Can I just come to your house ?
Not a sautee pan
you didn’t blanch the broccoli
He steamed it for 5 minutes to keep the broccoli crisp-tender, it’s the same end result if it was blanched.
Eat something green
this guy look so high
Dood! I like your channel a lot. But you look kinda rough in this one.
Garlic is revolting
