These two young ladies are so beautiful. I wish them nothing but the very best for the rest of their lives.

Loved reading the story; thanks, ladies!
You've probably already been asked this a dozen times, but have either of you seen the documentary "Twinsters"? Also, did the DNA say you were identical twins?

Hi Tony. They have seen Twinsters and they did tell me that a DNA test established they are twins and identical twins.

This is about the fourth or fifth case I've heard of, of twins from China being adopted out to different families in the west. In at least two of those cases they ended up in different countries (in one case, one twin ended up in the USA and the other twin in France, in another case one twin again ended up in the USA, and the other twin in Norway) IIRC in all of these cases the Chinese authorities didn't tell the adoptive families the baby they were adopting was one half of a pair of twins. Which seems so wrong... I don't know why they do that.

This is a video of Celena and Sarah that I shot while recording their oral history for Our China Stories: www.ourchinastories.com You can hear their story and the stories of other Chinese adoptees there.

I LOVE being adopted, but the DNA testing stuff can be mind blowing. And, as you said, awkward!

240kankan That’s a dumb-ass thing to say. Most Chinese are NOT dark skinned. A lot of Chinese have white skin

      @@jimmyfrank6876 Seems about right.
Also that's just how normal Asian people look like without a ton of makeup, plastic surgery and those ridiculous Meitu camera filters. To be honest many of these Douyin videos of Chinese girls are scary, like you're watching a ghost or something.
