Our navy is only required for doing a naval blockade on pakistan and to block the Malaka straight in order to stop chinese trade. But in the future our navy is going to greatly expand its arsenal, like 11 new frigates, 6-8 new destroyers, at least 12-20 new submarines and many more.

Mig-21 were baught by India in 1970s and they are still in use. How could you say this, even Rafale like fighter jets have 40 (average) years for service. How can MiGs be operated over 45 years they will surely get some sort of problem.

China has more than 700 the J10A/B/C fighter , there are more than 800 su27 su30 / su35 J11A/J11B/J16 / J15. There are 50 J20s. Second only to the United States air Force. More than 500 of them have AESA radars and PL15 missiles with a range of 200km. China also has 600 J7/J8 aircraft awaiting decommissioning, as well as 220 JH7A fighter-bombers. China produces 150 J16/J10C/J20 a year. The Indian Air Force has only over 400 modern combat units, of which only five Rafales have AESA radars and only a small number of fighters are purchased annually.
Mig 21 is an excellent fighter but at 250KMPH its landing speed is very high for inexperienced pilots to negotiate. It needs constant practice to master this beast. Delta wing without any help from the flight control computers as in Mirage and LCA produces its own challenges when maneuvering. Many pilots are not able to cope with it and crash.
With a chance of being branded an anti-national, I still prefer to question. If the deaths are not being reported by Chinese government or media (as if they were two different entities), how did you get these numbers?
For India the best strategy is to rigorously work on indegenous fighters and all other military equipment as far as possible, where we have full control to improve design continuously, provide spares and strengthen the entire force without minimal dependency from foreign suppliers.
At this rate, China will run out of warplanes fast. They literally fell out of the sky ! India should be happy about that because without firing a single shot, the entire Chinese air force disappears. So India can wait it out. India is a superpower without a doubt.
Most of the aircraft mentioned in this video are j6s and h5s which are reverse engineered Mig 19s and Ilyushin Il 28s respectively. to give you some perspective, the Mig 19 was the successor of the Mig 17 which was used during the Vietnam era (early 1960s to mid 1970s). that is how old these aircraft are. The j 7s are basically Chinese engineered mig 21s. My point is, the reasons for these crashes are very similar to our mig 21 disasters, the numbers are high only because the PLA is greater in size when compared to ours.
That is over 56 years of total crashes whereas chinese airforce has more crashes in one decade compared to indias entire crashes from 1964 to 2020. But yes our Mig-21's are now not reliable and will be replaced by our LCA Tejas

China has more than 700 the J10A/B/C fighter , there are more than 800 su27 su30 / su35 J11A/J11B/J16 / J15. There are 50 J20s. Second only to the United States air Force. More than 500 of them have AESA radars and PL15 missiles with a range of 200km. China also has 600 J7/J8 aircraft awaiting decommissioning, as well as 220 JH7A fighter-bombers. China produces 150 J16/J10C/J20 a year. The Indian Air Force has only over 400 modern combat units, of which only five Rafales have AESA radars and only a small number of fighters are purchased annually.
Mig 21 is an excellent fighter but at 250KMPH its landing speed is very high for inexperienced pilots to negotiate. It needs constant practice to master this beast. Delta wing without any help from the flight control computers as in Mirage and LCA produces its own challenges when maneuvering. Many pilots are not able to cope with it and crash.
With a chance of being branded an anti-national, I still prefer to question. If the deaths are not being reported by Chinese government or media (as if they were two different entities), how did you get these numbers?
For India the best strategy is to rigorously work on indegenous fighters and all other military equipment as far as possible, where we have full control to improve design continuously, provide spares and strengthen the entire force without minimal dependency from foreign suppliers.

Don’t just give date and time of crash... what is the analysis about training, technical back up/ expertise and the ability to fight at altitude?
Most of the aircraft mentioned in this video are j6s and h5s which are reverse engineered Mig 19s and Ilyushin Il 28s respectively. to give you some perspective, the Mig 19 was the successor of the Mig 17 which was used during the Vietnam era (early 1960s to mid 1970s). that is how old these aircraft are. The j 7s are basically Chinese engineered mig 21s. My point is, the reasons for these crashes are very similar to our mig 21 disasters, the numbers are high only because the PLA is greater in size when compared to ours.

There were about 182 crashes of Indian MIG-21 drom 1964 to 2020.........
That is over 56 years of total crashes whereas chinese airforce has more crashes in one decade compared to indias entire crashes from 1964 to 2020.
But yes our Mig-21's are now not reliable and will be replaced by our LCA Tejas
