@@ziadyasser7997 yeah he is talking about the fact that there are 3 books and making another movie is quite possible because at the end of the chinese version of the movie we are told that tyler was sent to an asylum and later discharged.
When Fight Club came out, it was few months after The Matrix. In 1999, I was 8 but I can imagine that if I was like 15, my life would turn out completely differently. Matrix and Fight Club pretty much meta films that must have set many people on their own journey.
Fun fact: Brad Pitt turned down the role of Neo in Matrix thinking he wasn’t a good fit. In 2020 he joked about it saying he’s made a mistake and took the red pill
Dude, I was 16 also and it fuckin made me not feel alone. Matrix followed by Fight Club showed me that magic existed and there was reality beyond our realization. The two most important films of my life, one after the fucking next. Magic is real. Make your life
Fight Club probably opened my eyes more than I understood then. In two hours, I learned so much about how people project what they think they are, but it all being bs. Same goes for companies. If we're honest, most people don't know what they're doing themselves, because your mind can play the best tricks on you. Everybody has issues, big or small, but most people don't or don't want to show them. So cue the Pixies, show some scenes from Fight Club and I'm getting goosebumps, like I'm having right now.
In a way tyler is actually kind of the hero of the story. It's an exploration of nihilism, and the real villians are the people whose lives are so hollow that they'll unflinchingly follow anyone who can give them purpose. Which is what ends up enabling all the atrocities. tyler was created by the narrator whom tyler's very existence comes at the expense of. So that makes the narrator god. so tyler's existence being something of a curse he rejects external meaning tries to "kill god" then creates a meaning all his own and has fun while doing it. Which makes him the uber mensch. I guess if i had to pin it down the moral would be to be like tyler, but not hold his or anyones ideals over your own and definitely not to follow people like tyler
Seeing this movie in the theater when I was 15 years old was an amazing experience. It completely affected me, and after a while, me and a few friends were suspended from school.
This is a great edit, but I spent 90% of it amazed that Frank Black's voice could get any higher than it used to be. Now I'm going to have to listen to the Fallout Shelter demos sped up because I'm a madman.

Kicking it off with the "we had a club"-thing somehow makes me nostalgic for absolute mayhem.
It started in 2012 brother. We still going until all the buildings fall
Maybe you should burn down your own house
actually that line "WE HAD A CLUB" was said to marketize his own movie FIGHT CLUB in 1999 he made a cameo in Friends in 1999 and had same hairstyle
I like the part in fight club when Tyler Durden said "We had a club, a fight club" then became Edward Norton and fought everyone
Truly one of the quotes of all time.
Especially himself
seems like you forgot rule number 1!
Remember when he said "its clubbing time" then clubbed everyone
he didnt say that
Maybe the true fight club are the friends we make along the way.
Overused joke but a 10/10 with this context

Fun fact, the protagonist of fight club never had a name because Edward Norton was playing himself.
