    Speaker Bio:
    Professor Vicente Carabias is a leading expert in sustainable development and smart cities. He coordinates the Sustainable Energy Systems and Smart Cities research group at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences and is Deputy Head of the ZHAW Institute of Sustainable Development. With a background in Environmental Sciences from ETH Zurich, Professor Carabias has dedicated his career to sustainability research, teaching, and service. He plays a pivotal role in transforming Winterthur into a Smart City, managing WinLab, the Living Lab of Winterthur, where social and technological innovations are systematically tested.
