- We are at quarters of Norfolk Fire-Rescue Station 1, consisting of Engine 1, Ladder 1, Battalion 1, and Medic 1 at 450 St. Paul's Boulevard, where we see Engine 1 and Battalion 1 as they get toned out to and respond to a call for a house fire at 1930 Greenleaf Drive across the Elizabeth River in South Norfolk. Engine 2, Engine 8, Ladder 8, Medic 8, and Rescue 1 all responded as well. As it turns out, it ended up being some food on the stove that caught fire, but nothing more. All companies returned within about 5 minutes. As an aside, Engine 8 was most likely first due, as it was on their side of the river. Engine 1 is a 2018 Pierce Arrow XT. Battalion 1 is a 2018 Chevy Silverado 3500HD. Enjoy the response of both rigs. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on November 8th, 2020.
1:01 I’m willing to bet whoever the guy yelling jobtown is loves his job
That’s what I’m looking for in a fire response video can you keep making them thanks 🙏

The engine got out fairly quickly. However the chief took two minutes to leave. Must of been on the "John"....

More important that the engine gets there. The Station Chief primarily handles scene direct and radio work, half of which can be done from his vehicle. So he's not super critical, the engines and trucks however are absolutely needed.
I don't know why but I fully started crying when I saw that 9/11 banner at 0:59 just nice that you guys remember I guess 😥
Out the door quickly !
I love the station tones there
Come to Baltimore city please! Or county?
Great One!👍
same station tones my fire department uses here in Waterbury, CT
Interesting only 1 ladder goes on a structure fire.
Nice catch good hustle
Good catch!
Thanks!
Is this in va?
Yes
Good 👍👍👍🚒🚑🚓🚒🚑🚓🚒🚑🚓🚒🚑🚓🚒🚑🚓
Could you try to do a Utica NY fire station sometime?
#gogetembrothers
Can you visit New Kent Fire-Rescue sometime?
If I am ever in the area, I will certainly try!
Clean rigs! Better than in the Northeast. Ladder took 4ever.
Ladder wasn't on the run.
@@FL92002 thanx; I thought it read it was. No big deal. Nice clean rigs. Not like New England.
@@owensweetland342as a new Englander I can confirm that
@@fireastronaut2171 🤣🤣. Am not a fan of shiny rims on apparatus UNLESS climate is conducive. New England departments get them then don't maintain them. Money poorly spent.
Any more from New Haven?
I live one city over! But still nice catch
Cool, thanks!
Excellent Catch 👍🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒
Thanks!
@@FL92002 hey. Nice video. With those types of tones, how does the dispatcher send them to each station or individual stations? Im used to 2 tone sets. Sorry. Does every station hear one another's call(s)?
Thumbs up
Come to Hampton Fire station 9 Ladder 9
Nice
Thanks
why was the officer riding the jump seat and the firefighter up front?
Must be trying to get his acting book signed off
Because they piled in for a call and seating be damned, they have lives to save?
