2:33 “isn’t that a real song?” It’s an instrumental version of the insert song that goes “to become stronger for somebody…” that you hear in both the Hirano vs. Sako fight (episode 5) and in the conclusion of Umemiya vs Chouji (episode 9) when Umemiya headbuts Chouji. What’s also fun is the piano melody continues to include a melodic phrase from the Chouji flashback/broken glass scenes. That moment after Chouji opens the chest and the melody goes up in pitch. [And for anyone that feels that scratch of “that sounds familiar somehow” is most likely because they are familiar with Xion’s theme from the Kingdom Hearts game series. The melodic bit is very close and also in the same musical key]
