Wonderful! Great sound. Thanks Nigel.
Beautiful rich sound!!
How did he go so long without swearing?!
not funny
This guy is awesome saw him years back wearing a track suit and gold chain on Oxford Street busking, he's like the Noel Gallagher of Violin 🎻
It wasn't just the Omobono that from her "accident" "vanished
I didn't know that her Omobono violin had vanished! From what I read, I thought that it was destroyed in the crash.
Do you think that the place "accident" was something more than what got reported in the media at the time?
I'll take 10 :)
Maybe it sounds so good because it is Ginette's Guadagnini (maybe BOTH were stolen.)
Only the scroll of her Guadanini was found. Do you have any evidence that this violin was Ginette Neveu's Guadagnini? What makes you believe that it is? Fascinating conjecture on your part!!!
that guy who said that guarneri sounds amaising just made an honest remark but this great violinist of hifets who was also very arrogant person made this stupied joke about it
Nothing stupid or arrogant about it at all if you think about it.
I've never heard about Heifetz being arrogant. I've heard he was a very modest person who was never satisfied with any of his performances. He made a very good point, when he held his violin to his ear, especially when Heifetz's sound was unique.
@@frankie6954 you have to understand. In time of Heifetz these violin were quite cheap and available. And if you go 200 years ago, anybody from the middle class could have private collections of multiple Amatis, Gudagninis and other famous italian violin makers. Olle Bull could buy Strad violin just for money he earned for a single concert. Now golden era strads in good shape with good tone are worth 20million and I doubt violinists are earning these money for single performance, it is quite opposite, they are earning less and less because of covid and other factors.
Bulls...t
A violin is a piece of art, like painting. But for very great music, you need your heart + your skill + just "a little better" hand made violin. And not at all 1 mil $ instrument. Everything better than that is for say 5% top musicians or for vanity exercises.
It was so educational when two set violin youtube guys called a good professional to perform on Strad and than on ordinary violin of say hundreds of dollars price tag. You know what happened? You could, but hardly could hear a difference. Yes, he needed more effort on cheaper violin. But that is not my point.
*Approach your violin as if it is a Strad, and to music as something very special and you will be greatly surprised how much better you will perform. That is the great secret of music and achievement. Now you know.*
I basically agree with you. And I hate people never shut up about how great those expensive violins are.
But two set violin did you say??????
That's funny because they are literally noone but just entertainers.
@@선반영-i4b He said "called a good professional to perform on“ and that is not the only video on YT about very cheap vs. old master violin played by a professional.
@@선반영-i4b they are indeed entertainers but you can't forget that they're professional violinists, brett himself has played in front of barack obama..
That extra effort and and the fact that the cheap violin won't be heard past the 3rd of seats is why the top pro violinists don't play cheap violins.
@@boogiewoogie9770 Who cares about 5% of top violin players?
We are free to admire them, to respect them, to enjoy their performance. But what counts is myriad of small performers, moderate achievers. They can tremendously improve their music experience if comprehend what I wrote.
The top performers on the contrary found their way in music and they have no such problems in understanding, of course. The rest of us should simply stop cultivating Strad complex.
