A propos de cette toute nouvelle chanson, une Dear ( je ne sais plus qui, qu'elle me pardonne) a expliqué que les 3 dernières chansons pouvaient être comprises comme un triptyque. "Flyaway", serait la 2eme où Dimash s'adresse à tous et notamment aux jeunes. Ceci rend plus cohérent la présence massive des danseurs. Regarding this brand new song, a Dear (I don't remember who, forgive me) explained that the last 3 songs could be understood as a triptych. "Flyaway" would be the 2nd where Dimash is aimed at everyone, especially young people. This makes the massive presence of the dancers more coherent. This is a message to invite a change of system, and not an individual love story as you describe it. It's still a hypothesis, but Dimash showed me that he was, very often, like a messenger. "Stranger" would be the metaphor of a rebirth or a birth I don't really know. And "Ave Maria", would be the spiritual accompaniment, and the comfort in these difficult moments which we all live. Maybe its distracting for viewer at home but if you have the chance to see him live those backup dancer are needed, you want a full show with a band a smal choir and dancers, its the way performer are doing there world tour
It's not needed at a solo concert. Nice to have but not a requirement. I can honestly say that not at a single concert I've been to did I notice the dancers. Not even that huge pink doll thing behind him at Sochi this year. I only really noticed it on TV the next evening 😄
All in all- Still another Stellar performance!

FLY AWAY is a electro pop song that want to make you dance and feel the beat, this is specially for a live audiences ,beside you dont see dimash doing crazy stunt , its the whole package that make it good.there s song where you wont see a dancer ,but the next one they will be all arround beside i think he can do whatever he want , whe re just spectators, each song is a unique concept.

I think you're not getting the meaning to the song. Dimash said its about the search for emotional, spiritual and creative freedom. Keep in mind that this is a performance at a big event so some entertainment is required. No he doesn't need dancers but it's ok to have them there. He can't always stand on a stage by himself

Thank you Mar. I love all that Dimash does. He is so deep sometimes that you don't catch it until later, which is something else that makes him stand out from other artists. I appreciate and love many genres, this wasn't my favorite, but as I told others, Dimash on his worst day is better than most on their worst!
Dimash is my new MJ. Fly Away is a dynamic song like the dynamic life path we follow. Everything in this performance is full of symbols - the creepy zombies, the dancers, Dimash's movements, the lyrics... We are obliged to live this life as soon, as we were born, but we are not obliged to live it as a slaves to a perfect system /matrix/ designed to serve one's needs. Everything evokes the feeling of rebellion. Dimash is the only one who enters the stage walking. The rest are creeping zombies. The rotating globe all the time in the background shows the scale of this matrix. Dimash is frustrated by insincere human relationships, lies and false kindness. He desperately wants to break the shackles that suffocate him and live in his own way, not to be controlled and limited. He desperately wants to fly and find the sincere love that everyone needs. “I see Perfect people perfect world. I see Perfect system download“. Keep in mind that the system is downloaded, not a naturally created living world. His whole dance, /in fact, the lack of dance/, his moves shows his disinterest in copy-paste people who dance obediently to the music of the matrix. That's how I felt this song. For me personally, the dance and the whole staging is just on point and match the song perfect. A very strong message. And Dimash as always slays.

Me too- I went back and listened to it again without watching it, as someone suggested. I could feel the MJ Vibe right away, the beat was very reminicent of MJ. I am still having a little trouble distinguising some of his words, the language barrier is getting better but I still miss some of the lyrics. I guess I need to listen again! LOL. These dancers are the famous Russian ballet group "Todes". This ballet school is over 30 years old and has danced with many top stars in Russia and across the world including Michael Jackson ( at his two concerts in Seoul and Munich ).
They also danced with Dimash in "Give Me Your Love" song and at his solo concerts in Russia last year.

Song writer Yedilzhan Gabbasov, who has been in music industry for more than twenty years, he said “Inspiration came to me one quiet evening when a tune suddenly turned up in my head. I started humming it out loud and immediately thought of Dimash’s voice. And then, I realized that I would really like him to be the one to sing that song,”.
Jordan Arakelyan, the author of the lyrics to such Dimash’s hits as “Give Me Your Love” and “Be With Me”, also shared how the work on the new track went: “Dimash always says in advance what a song should be about and he puts the meaning in it. He doesn't need dancers for most of his songs. But I think in this song the dancers represent "the crowd" or an ideology that you need to break FREE from. It is also his trying more Western poplandia formulas for performers. So, nice to experiment. IMPORTANT FOR WORLD 🌎 D(MASH)OMINATION !!🤩

all good respect to you, but I think it's great to see Dimash with dancers, and to me it really frames him, his look, his voice, his art beautifully like a great frame enhances a great artists painting! The dancers were to contrast with him to prove he is not a cog in the machine or a carbon copy of societal expectations. He was always out of sync with them on purpose.

I do disagree about the dancers.. They are essential for the message to get across, it's all about breaking free from the masses and being yourself.. At the end he looks at them with some contempt, and they all behave the same and all "die" together.. Definitely all part of the whole performance!

Also he is very sociable and loves to have lots of musicians, dancers etc.. Apparently his family and friends worry a lot about him exhausting himself and getting ill, which happens to him

I understand. I found the dancers distracting, too.. not as much now that I understand the symbolism more. I think they're there to represent the crowd, the public, you and me... and how so many of us tend to follow the crowd, while he wants to separate from that, and find his own way.
According to the songwriter, this song is about the search for full creative, spiritual, and personal freedom. I love that concept, especially for Dimash at this stage in his career.. It's not my very favorite of his, but I appreciate the important statement he's making, and the song itself has grown on me a lot. Try listening without watching the video. I think you'll like it more without the visual distractions. I know I do. I've even listened on repeat many times.

I didn't understand your problem with the dancers. It's a pop song.
The message that Dimash wants to evoke in us is actually carried by the text, the dance and the whole stage. I think without the dance, the song will be crippled.

No problems. As I stated eariler, Dimash on his worst day is better than most on their best day! I just didn't think he needed them, but as Valya Todorova stated above- the meaning of the song, changes everything! I also hear that he's making a MV from this song! That will be EPIC!

I agree about the dancers. This was my least favourite of the three New Wave songs released. It is growing on me, but only when I don’t watch the choreography. I’m more interested in a more pared down interpretation. Less is more with Dimash.

I totally agree. I think all the dancers are disturbing. Dimash don't need support on the stage.
