  • There are many ways to see Tayrona National Park from a bougie backpacker stay at a nearby hostel like Rio Buritaca hostel in the jungle to luxury stays in nearby Santa Marta where you can take day trips to Tayrona National Park. For the brave hearted campers you can stay in a hammock or tent right in the national park, however if you want to just go for the day there is plenty to see and do for the day. #colombiatravel #backpackcolombia #southamericatravel #santamartacolombia #tayrona #tayronanationalpark #travelguide #solotravel

Love your content! Thanks for the great info!
    A few questions:
    - What month were you travelling in Colombia (the weather seemed perfect)
    - did you bring a suitcase with you or a backpackers bag?
    - do you think 5 weeks was enough for Colombia?
    Thank you!!

Just seeing this and thanks so much. I went in Feb it was perfect. I also had a huge suit case and backpack. I would bring less next time. I think I could have stayed for two months because there was still things I wanted to see.

Really great video! How were you able to get from the Santa Marta airport to the hostel? We’re they able to set up transportation?

At the beginning of the video you said you were on the plane from Barranquilla to Santa Marta. How is that even possible? They’re only two hrs’ drive apart.
