@@TrishR-sd2px it actually fit in the gap between the lid and wall of tank. There is just enough space for a standard airline. There are clips on the lid. The clips just rest on the outer walls with about 1/8" of play. So there is a small gap all along the back edge. Perfect for an airline.
@@TrishR-sd2px My apartment complex has lakes with fountains. Those big rocks line the lakes. The smaller rocks I just picked from outside. All were soaked in a 50/50 bleach & water solution overnight to ensure they were totally clean.
Wow, thanks for the nice video and explanation. Quick question, is your tank considered over stocked or it is in normal condition? I have same aquarium and willing to add tetras, but have no clue how many I can go with this tank.
Thank you! Ember tetras are extremely small. Glow light tetras are very small as well so I would say no I am not overstocked. I think I'm pretty much right on points at capacity. All depends on what size tetras you're going to buy... Also depends on how much filtration you're running on the tank. The more filtration the more you can load up on fish.
Would you say that the length is about or the same as a 20-gallon tank? I have an axolotl. I would love to buy this tank, but everyone says they need 20 gallons. Axolotls are bottom dwellers, so I figure if the then length is the same as a 20 gallon, I could maybe make it work?
A 20 gallon high is 24" across. This tank is 23" across. I would say you could start with this tank but Axoloti get fairly big and you would probably need to move them to a 20 long at some point. A 20 long is 30" in length
Please do not keep an axolotl in this tank. I have this tank and it is far too small. 20 gallon long aquariums are the bare minimum for an axolotl. You should aim for a larger tank if possible, but nothing smaller.
How do you like the new tank? I just ordered it today. Going to pick it up in about an hour. I will wait to set up b/c I need to get a new filter. I do not like these filters that come with the tanks.

Where did you put the hosing for the airstone on the left side of the tank. Because of the glass lid, I am guessing no space on the left for the hose.
