- A box is tied to a rope coiled around a pulley. The box is dropped and the rope begins to unspool. As the rope starts to rotate the pulley, what is the downward acceleration of the block? You might reason that it has to be less than g, but by how much? Let's work it out.
I do not think that I would have done as good in Physics at Trent University without my Professor providing your videos on our reading quizzes every week. Glad to see you uploading videos again! I enjoy them very much!
I am almost 50, Never took physics, no college either, soo....
I am going to watch this about 40 more times, then pretend I am you and teach it to the wall as many times as I have to, until I understand it.
You really are the best teacher. Thanks
Your Electromagnetism video is still my favorite.
Finally youuu are backkkkk!!
Student for life, love it. Yes, great to be back.
Cheers,
Dr. A
@@yoprofmattwhat evidence do you have against the geocentric system?
professor we need you back pls come back teach us
Thank you so much for making these videos. You are the reason why I am passing my physics class. Keep up the great work professor!
Happy properous New Year 2023 Prof Anderson. All the Best for you and your family... 👍👍
sir you are great ... pls comeback ..... my life is getting boring without your videos
Wow you have changed. Salute from Puerto Rico. Thanks for the free lessons.
Hope you’re doing well 🙏 You’re my hero
heyy please come back with more concepts
Well explained Dr. Matt Anderson! Units always help to get you to the right answers. That is one thing I kept to heart from SDSU physics and I try to pass that to my students.

Mark,
Great to hear from you. Drop me an email.
Cheers,
Dr. A
Shoutout from ASU and single-handedly saving my physics grade
I have respect for all professors because of you
Prof, am enjoying your videos here in Nigeria.
Wow, you're back! Excellent! Hope all is/was well. Now, on with the fun 'fizixx' again.
Thanks fizixx, good to be back.
Cheers,
Dr. A
@@yoprofmatt 🥳
Thanks Sir
Este canal es el único que he encontrado que es bueno explicando .
sir, i really love your explanation (love from india)😄
Thank you so much for making these videos. Your explanations are always so clear and concise, I've barely cracked my physics book all semester and currently have a 96% in the class. Thanks Dr. Matt!!!
Wow, excellent. Glad you're finding these useful and nailing your class!
Cheers,
Dr. A
Our Legend getting old
🥲😪
🙏
Hope you're fine and
Pleeeeeease,
Come back!
Dear Professor Matt Andreson , have a good day , please could you kindly solve one numerical problem regarding lightening bolt striking a broadcasting mast , to indicate the effect of radius of blunt end of a lightening rod , thanks and best regards .
I am from pakistan 🇵🇰 Sir i were watching your videos you are amazing ❤️MashAllah May Allah bless you ❤️☺️✨
crystal clear
why work done by conservative force reduce potential energy? Plzz reply
How do you do these whiteboard presentations?
Sir 🙌🙌💯✅👍❤️ ...
Me encantan cono se llama la pizarra
Need more pully videos
Please, I have a surprising question now: How can there be an acceleration due to gravity on a body at rest on the ground? We know that the acceleration of stationary bodies is zero. Can you answer this question? I apologize if there are errors in my speech because I use translation. I am an Arab researcher.
Very good video. Reviewing for my final soon you remind us about the concepts as well as how to use the math. Thank you very much!
Awesome, good luck.
Cheers,
Dr. A
What happened to you? Please come back
4:13 I thought the relationship between linear and angular acceleration was a=w²r
Edit: I was wrong, that's relationship between centripetal acceleration and angular velocity
Can someone please tell me if he is writing backwards or not so that we can see correctly? If so that is very impressive.
they just mirror the video, he is writting as a normal
What if the length of the string be infinitismly small
It would be very easy 😉
We can even neglect the tension
And the it as a system
Angular acceleration=(total torque on the system)/(total moment of inertia of the system about the common axis)
Have a try
This trick always works 😅
We can even apply it in case of multiple Pulleys 😁
please make video on theory of relativity🙏🙏🙏✍
We are learning this in 11th grade
Just op 💜
💟
Cheers,
Dr. A
الفيزياء طلعت حلوه🫢😭
Talking about physics. I am trying to figure out how he is mirror writing so that we can read it as normal. Best guess: he is not mirror writing. It's edited in such a way that it appears that he is writing like we do. Let's break it down. He is writing it on a glass and he is behind this glass. Those are true assumptions. When you put a camera on the exact opposite direction of him it would all be mirror written. The only solution then is that the whole video is mirrored during editing once so that you can read what he is writing. Ergo: you see him in a mirror image during the whole video. How to prove this? My assumption is that this professor is right handed. In every video he is left handed, ergo: his image is mirrored all the time.
😇
😇😍
Also sir, your videos are quite short.
⁉
miss you professor , I think you gain a little weight 😅
Ouch…
That's just my personal Covid 19.
Cheers,
Dr. A
I dont buy it
Good thing it's free.
