Picked this up from Rubicon for 70 pounds delivered to Australia. It’s a recent (2023 I believe) rebrand of a Pulsar watch which was produced as part of a now longish line of production issues of the original Gen 1 & 2 Pulsar pilot chronographs that were produced under military contract. Pulsar also made field watches for the military on and off. This Lorus essentially has the dial and movement of the Pulsar Gen 1. The case is different and the original had a sloped rehaut for the minute track. The Pulsar branded watches are hard to find and much more expensive now. For the Gen 2 they changed to a central chronograph hand and running seconds on the 6 o’clock sun dial (as you find on most modern chronographs).
I have it too, they are both absolutely amazing value and both real classics, did you also know this one comes in full lume dial too, I'm not sure what country you are in but here in the UK you can buy it from Argos
Looks great with the "bond" style NATO, as do most watches in this style. It's a great looking watch and you can't go wrong with Lorus for the money you pay, definitely picking this one up. Great review! Subscribed.
@Alwaysontime-dh1gz I actually bought the same watch 2 months ago and thought mine was defective. But it seems they all do that? It's a nice looking watch but I'm honestly disappointed with its refinement. Also, the illumination on my watch is very poor and short lasting.
I'm actually surprised, I think for the price it's brilliant in finish and function, I guess we all have different standards, thank you so much for your message and happy new year 🎊

Have you noticed that your 1/10 aecond dial doesnt make a full circle in a second? It's off, takes more like 1.5 sec to spin it fully.

I like that the second hand acts like a second hand. Most of the other chronos second hands only move in chrono mode
