I actually think the bangs w the straight hair is super cute and makes you look younger. It looks very Korean style, like what the fashionista youth in Korea would wear, if that makes sense. I like it!

It is quite liberating to release ourselves from the conventional norms (as applicable). 💇🏻♀️ We have learnt how to be insecure and intimidated by things that we shouldn't be.
It is great to have a structure when it comes to Journaling but I have found that it will inevitably change and we will modify and adapt it to the mould that is ourselves 📑

When I first saw your hair, I immediately thought Natalie Portman and Amelie. Willy Wonka didn’t even cross my mind. I don’t think you look like that at all actually. I love that look especially with the curls. It suites you so well.

Honestly you pull off anything and everything ! You are beautiful girl !! And yes you are right the bangs suit you more when you curl it but when it is straight or curled inward it looks more chic when it is all one length
i just need to say i'm so happy you show us the realness of your journey with mental health and 'self improvement' (i don't know what else to call those sorts of things people do for self-improvement, but like you said about your journaling the focus should be more on self-appreciation as opposed to improvement).
a lot of people act like journaling, meditation, etc. are an instant cure but i love how you've actually shown us your ups and downs with it and really shown that it's a journey and you have to find a way that's right for you and your mental health. i'm just so happy seeing you thriving and in a better place! much love!

girls, I just wanna say: it's easy for us to be scared of short hair. For centuries, society has strongly implied that long hair equates to feminity.
I cut my own hair recently and it was so liberating to look at myself in the mirror with my short hair and still feel beautiful. Hoping this encourages anyone who wants to try a shorter cut, but has been hesitant!

I think it’s depends on the person’s face and body type like hair colour and even colours generally. There are persons like Jenn who can sport short hair. That is probably the case with you too. But there are people who look real bad and way to masculine with short hair

@@Erienna872 but the issue is that there shouldn’t be a problem with looking masculine. Women and men should be able to explore their feminine and masculine sides. Even if she looks masculine, if a woman loves how short hair looks on her than that’s great. No one looks “too masculine” with short hair.

It really got me when you said ‘Maybe I’ll look a little bit more feminine that way’. I had my hair cut as short as yours just before Christmas and I felt like all my femininity had flown away. I had my hair shoulder length a million times before but having it just above the chin really made a difference!

I just chopped off a huge chunk of my extremely long hair (in order to donate as wigs for cancer patients), and I’m currently on the shortest haircut I’ve ever been in my life since baby. Watching Jenn live out her short hair bob and rock it is such an INSPO!

Honestly you look so good with this hair!!! I’m currently going through the same situation as my ends got burnt from chemicals and the hairdresser had to chop off 6 inches! What made it worse was she layered the hair so much so its super thin. I am sad. It will grow back I say. Best of luck!
