i add iron sulphate too , used this method for years its my go too.
I've got chickens as you can see in my videos and they poop so much, so use it all the time, plants love it.
Hi can this be stored once made if so how long can it be stored for before it goes bad thank you.
Once made, is it ok to keep the fertiliser in a plastic bottle. Thanks, fabulous educational video.
@@tjnailzbytracysimmonds1648 yeah 👍
Thank you 😊
Can you do the same with lawn care, and apply it in liquid form to grass?
What do you recommend to feed decorative shrubs and trees?
Good video, I’ll try it.
Awesome ! Thank you 👍
How long you can keep this and what is 1 inch into mls it’s excellent video I must appreciate thanks
You'll have to Google the conversation as I'm not sure. You can keep it for as long as you like but be warned, the longer you keep it the smellier it will get!
Could I use this on all vegetables, fruits and herbs? Also, I’m new at growing a garden, could I use this on Gede table seedlings? And if so, how often should I use it
Don't use it on seedlings as it will be too strong. Only use it on veg that require nice grean leafy growth.
Couldn’t I just have it MORE diluted to make it less strong?
Thank you !
Easiest way is to get an onion net fill with manure pellets put it in a barrel of water for as long as you want then use the liquid diluted in a watering can throughout the growing season 👍 no need for all the faff in this video
Agree if you want it on a larger scale for sure 👍
@@TheGreyGardener1990 I left some pellets in last year in a water barrel... come the spring it was delicious.... my wallflowers etc were amazing !
Is soaked chicken manure a hot manure? Will it burn my grass leaf blades if I apply it to my lawn?
I wouldn't put this on grass as its quite bitty and nit pure liquid. Liquid seaweed is good for grass
@@TheGreyGardener1990 What aboout using it on trees and shrubs?
Anything that needs a high boost of nitrogen so it very much depends on the specific shrub/flower/vegetable etc
Can you use it on your lawn?
I've never done it but don't see why not
Good Information but very looooonnnngggg 💚
Thanks I think 🤣
How long does the feed last before its no good
I wouldn't have thought it would go off to be honest. Still going to contain is nutrients
That's a lot of messing about. I just put 2 handfuls in a gallon container, fill it with COLD water, leave it for a couple of days then give it a good shake. Been doing this for years, works fine. Tomatoes love it! Once it's poured into the soil the stink disappears.
Yes probably right this is just the way my grandad taught me
@@TheGreyGardener1990 Try my method ... you wont be disappointed! BTW if you want to use it indoors (I kid you not!) you can strain the lumps out through an old pair of tights and throw the detritus on the soil. The worms will have a feast.
What are your measurements or ratios? I’m new to gardening and just bought a 5 pound bag of chicken manure pellets. Thanks in advance
@@DJChirpzTV A couple of small handfuls to a gallon of water.
@@mickbolton2276thanks
Why not just put pellets in the water bottle and leave it over night
Exactly my thoughts.
pelleted for lawns ofc its free of weeds that chickens eat.
Can this be used indoors
Based on the smell I wouldn't want it in doors. Never tried it to be honest
