I actually really like the 95-96 Fleer, call me weird they are different and not so carbon copied like todays stuff. I really value Base Cards of Super Stars and Rookies, those base cards albeit ugly too some are unique and unorthodox in the Sports Card world.

1995 fleer was like this with baseball as well, the most ugliest set ever, baseball is even worse because so much is going on, and every 50 cards change looks, also the reason those hardwood inserts have creases at the top was from the machine sealing the packs...
that upper deck holo Jordan was the first really cool card I had when I was a kid

I’m a 90s guy, so I completely agree. Early 90s SkyBox base cards are my favorite cards of all time.
I remember getting a hardwood leader insert when i was a little sprout, i loved that card was not any special player or anything.
They are cool looking cards for sure.

Upper Deck SP was the bomb back then for any sport. The premium price of $4 or $5 a pack was insane back then.
