Congrats on the new rifle!!! I still might pick up an X model and would love it in .357mag! I handload .38 Special already so it'd be a perfect match for calibers I'm already into. Way back when I started on my Henry project, I wanted basically an All-weather X model. Henry stuff is so nice... will have more Henry rifles in my collection eventually. My other lever guns are old Marlin rifles. Nice shot on that Apple Juice and that gong at 250.
Thanks brother. I found that of the 3 different rounds I was shooting, 357 fmj, hp and 38s they all shot significantly different at 50+ yards. I will be suppressing this and using it for back yard plinking and 38s are the winner for that. Then, with some 357s you have such a wide range of affordable power. I will certainly be buying more Henry's.
Nice! Well that's gonna be a LOT of fun!! I have the 45-70 version of the Big Boy X and an old Marlin 30-30. But I'd really like a pistol round . I've heard the 38 special out of a lever action is suppressed shooting at it's best.
@@publicdefender77 dead air primal. It’s a do all can and VERY heavy. Wish I had a lighter weight one in 45 cal. But it works and the Henry is pretty short.
Nice lever! Henry is making a revolver now. I held both grip styles in hand. They scream QUALITY!!! 👍
Nice! I have been very pleased with Henry. I will have to check out their revolver.

An all weather with a threaded barrel would be nice! Quiet deer set up!
@@williamhaight978 Mine didn’t disappoint last season!

45-70 is a beast! Wonder if they make subsonic for those
@@Wisconsinsportsman yes for sure. You can load some heavy projectiles and make it subsonic.
@triggerbarPhD That would really make the steel ring, with a big old 400 grainer! 45-70 is one that will be in the safe In the future.
@Wisconsinsportsman yea, you and me both. I think I need a 44-70 as well. TBP, What suppressor are you running on yours?
