Because YG don't promote them enough in Korea. It makes Korean fans forget them. Korea is a super nasionalist people, they hate it when idols promote more out of their motherland. And as you know, YG sent Treasure A LOT to Japan on top of that.
There was once a discussion at Korean site, which one they would pick :
1. A group that is famous internationally
2. A group that is famous in Korea
And they chose the second one. They said it themselves that they didn't care and gave 0 fuck if an idol or a group was famous internationally. "Why would i care? they are not even promoting here"
Korean core fandom is a must! Because through Korea, you will then get a lot more exposure not only nationally but also internationally.
Just imagine if they are more famous in Korea, their song will enter the Korean charts, they will get a lot of points and can win a lot of music shows, that's also an exposure.
If they're famous in Korea, they will be talked in a lot in Korean forums and aricles and eventually spreaded to i-fans community.
If they are famous in Korea, they will easily get ambassador or ads offering and thi is also an exposure.
If only YG took care more of their group, especially their boygroup. Because during this GG era, it's even harder for boy group to ruse up.

How many talented people out there that are hidden from the world?? Success doesn't only take talent! it takes a LOT of factors and works!! even luck!!
I'm an illustrator so as an artist i understand this matter very much. Just because i'm talented and good at drawing, if i don't showcase my works, if i don't post and promote my works to social medias, if i don't interact and engage with other artists and the community, no one would know me.
You are not God where people will come and worship you just like that. Even people often forgot God nowadays, let a lone idols.

HUHH??? i don't know where you got that idea, but Korean fans are THE LAST people who would care about talent from idol groups 😭 Korean fans were never about talent and skill when it came to idol group. It always has been about visual first then talent after.
You probably are referring to the recent scandal. When they say "they only care about talent" they mean the bare minimum skill with good visuals. Those Knetz who claims only care about talent are most likely just following the hate bandwagon to certain groups. And the second reason is because a lot of new gen group are severely regressing compare t the previous ones. And because of those untalented idols, now they think the bare minimum ones are the talented ones.
@words-island1011 Forget about those korean who claim to care about talent, forget about the recent scandal and move back a few years back before these new gen groups debuted, YG's huge problem was still because they were lazy at promoting their artists! Lack promotion, lack comebacks, lack effort at growing the core fandom in Korea. That's why Korean has been sleeping on them and never really care about Treasure.
I've always been mesmerized by Jihoon, Jeongwoo and Junkyu's vocals but with this song, Doyoung and Junghwan's vocals really stood out to me. They continued to get better and better with each comeback/release. I'm really proud of them

Definitely the BG that is the BEST in live singing in 4th Gen. They're called one of the best live performers in Kpop for a reason. I can't see any other group in 4th Gen that's this natural, confident and comfortable in singing live ALL THE TIME. This is where u witness EVERY single member serving live vocals that are stable AF, and doesn't only depend on their main vocal/vocal line. They don't do that here. Such a flex that the rapline and sub-vocalists do their very best to sing w/ the main vocal line either as harmonization or ad-lib. That shows that they're passionate abt live singing, AS THEY SHOULD cuz 1- it's their job and 2- to set as a reminder that Kpop shouldn't be all abt dancing only. After all, Kpop was originally mainly about singing incorporated w/ dancing and not dancing w/ lip sync or little to no singing. Atp, Treasure should set as the standard for 4th and 5th Gen live performances. They're a real gem, just like their name.
