M first owner frm peshawar nd believe me m enjoying this car as i was a toyota or honda lover but this car impress me with its feature nd look although a fuel consumption is a bit problem for which the servicer replied drive the car with heavy foot let the car enjoy its initial engine flow nd hopefully the fuel consumption will be satisfactory after 5 to 10k so overall this car is worthy to 6 million

Tried Pakwheels inspection service few weeks ago. I am not satisfied at all.
@Suneel Bhai is right - Steering wheel has a problem. I drove 5008 in Germany. Steering wheel blocks the speedometer (i am 6 ft). I had huge problem of steering wheel adjustment

@@muhammadabdullah-rw1kr its a pain - If you want the steering to be perfectly align with your seating and sitting position, it cuts the speedometer’s visibility. You can’t even see it properly.

Highly professional and wonderful review.
One thing I noticed in Pakistan is that people there either buy full size SUV or stick with sedans and hatchbacks. It's totally different from India in this segment. Highest selling cars in top 10 are 6 compact suv, 2 hatchbacks,1 mpv (ertiga or xl6) and one compact sedan (purchased by taxi drivers )

Me ne test drive ki thi ye gaari jab aayi thi & no doubt is ka initial pick bht zabardast hai. Built quality or finishing bht achi hai… price bracket February me zayada lag rahi thi lekin ab current prices ko dekhte howe is ki price justifiable hai. Overall this car is recommended 💯
Yeah I was also thinking the same. I might probably book it in near future but currently I'm waiting for my tuscon. One thing I'm waiting for is that they introduce the 3008 which might be a hot buy if launched in 6.5 to 7 million price bracket

@@abdullahsheikh4604 let's hope so cause if its launched at around 7 million, that car is gonna sell like hot cakes especially because of the fact that sportage and tuscon aren't value for money anymore snd their new generation launchi isn't anywhere near in pakistan right now. But in the end pricing will determine its fate. Also idk but I think peugeot should focus on launching the 5008 too, I've used it a couple of times in UK and it's quite a fun suv with plenty of comfort and cool features

The only missing part in expert and owner’s review is the cost to maintain. Eg. engine oil, filter, spark plugs.
317 euro for service like oil, filters and so on. Pk me bhi zada hi hogi

That's why there are owner reviews to explain more about these things because they had experience with it.
It has direct injection engine, which will result in carbon build up on intake valve and associated maintenance problems. Hi octane is going to increase its operational expenses.

One correction is important : Peugeot is NOT a luxury car manufacturer,infact it is one of the more affordable alternatives for the premium brands in europe,so dont think of buying this car for luxury,infact this will probably have more build quality issues than kia hyundai toyota etc

Disappointing points😡
1. No electric seats
2. No arm and head rest for rear passengers
3. No charging points for rear passengers
4. Rear doors are not good for those who loves to see outside during the journey
5. Engine has only 3 cylinders.
But pick bhoat achi hai aur 3 cylender petrol ke wajha sa 1 bat bolu ap ja Ka croola chalo q Ka woa ap Ka leya hai

We need a Garage Tour
The door doesn't open very widely, Getting in and Out for someone with a Bulkier Body will be difficult as will be the fitting of a Child seat, because getting it in/out will be a challenge.

I feel the car engine makes a lot of noise while the AC is on , has a tractor like noise. Did you notice this issue with the car?
This car is more expensive in Pakistan than here in Sweden. Plus peugeot is not one of the most preffered European brand. To me renault is better in build quality than a peugeot. But still its good to have diversity in the automotive market in Pakistan. And it was kind of surprising for me to see 2008 in Pakistan but its good.
In India Peugeot is not their instead we have Citroen.

A car that costs 60 lacs is clearly not economically (purchase and maintanance) affordable to 90% of pakistanis. For a car that can only be purchased by wealthy people it has a lot of compromises.

What are you on about? Every crossover/SUV is almost 60 lacs now in Pakistan. Relatively speaking, it offers an excellent value to money considering it is a European car. Now, whether 60 lacs is a lot or not is a subjective matter. This car is only for those who are already using SUV and are comfortable spending this much amount. For people like us who only have 13 lacs, we are not even their target audience so it's useless to rant about its price.
