Carnival is at least 50 years in the UK, but the songs and DJ's are still Caribbean. First and second generation needs to take over from their parents and make carnival authentically British.
@@ruutz1 It's fact not nonsense. There's also one carnival song I've been hearing for the past few years that haven't changed. I swear, if I hear that song again next year, I'm gonna throw a fit.
@@fruitflyhunter Where did I say that carnival started in the UK. If you read my comment carefully, you would have understood the fact that I was saying that carnival came from the Caribbean 50 years ago. My surprise stem from the fact that there have been at least two generations of Caribbean people born in the UK, but still, every year, Caribbean influence is still what is driving it. The two generations of Caribbeans born in the UK should take over and give it authentic British vibes. That's exactly what I'm trying to say.
Amazing Notting Hill Carnival. Very crowded streets. Lots of people join the parade. Tnx4sharing fully watched 👍
Anyone know the Soca tune at the very start of this clip?
